Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to augmented reality (AR) measurement display. A measurement of a quantity in an environment of a user currently using an AR device can be received. A preferred unit of measurement (UoM) for the measurement of the quantity can be selected based on an analysis of historical data of the user. The measurement of the quantity can be conceptualized by obtaining a virtual object associated with the measurement of the quantity. A command to display, on the AR device, the measurement of the quantity within the preferred UoM and the virtual object associated with the measurement of the quantity can be issued.

  • Publication number: 20240161365
Abstract: Images placed in documents are enhanced based on the context in which the image is used. Context is determined according to document-specific indicators such as nearby text, headings, titles, and tables of content. A generative adversarial network (GAN) modifies the image according to the context to selectively emphasize relevant components of the image, which may include erasing or deleting irrelevant components. Relevant general-purpose images may be retrieved for use in the document and may be selectively enhanced according to usage of the general-purpose image in a given document.

  • Publication number: 20240112077
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an approach for providing in-vehicle predicted context-based proactive driving training using an autonomous vehicle. A knowledge corpus is established from a driver's previous driving experience. A potential driving context (or scenario) is identified for a forthcoming driving route. An experience gap analysis is performed between the driver's experience and the potential driving context. If an experience gap exists, an in-vehicle mixed reality driving training simulation is provided in a selected location by the autonomous vehicle. The driver's responses to the training simulation can optionally be monitored and a determination can made based on the driver responses as to the suitability of the driver to safely address the potential driving context.

  • Patent number: 11934552
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for selectively customizing, modifying and changing performance parameters, capabilities and behaviors of AI devices within AI device networks by sharing user-selected portions of a knowledge corpus with other AI device networks. Selectively sharing parameters, learned behaviors, capabilities, and features of the knowledge corpus allows for AI devices within a second AI device network to mimic, clone or recreate the performance or behaviors of AI devices operating within the environment of a first AI device network. Users can create portable nodes that travel with the user and upon connecting with the second device network, identify AI devices that can be modified using the portions of the knowledge corpus to recreate selected portions of the first AI device network within the environment of the second AI device network either permanently or for a user-selected amount of time.

  • Patent number: 11934434
Abstract: Disambiguation of search keywords to expert systems is performed through the application of a semantic ranking function to determine a classification category with confidence for a given query. The semantic ranking function is executed through an application of a semantic distance distribution profile score through analysis of user problem statement (UPS) with nodes in the taxonomy in the same vector space to create a search that combines a user problem statement and a taxonomical node in the search engine index. The distribution profile score calculation is provenance influenced to derive geographic, cultural, and demographic provenance for a user problem statement.
