  • Publication number: 20040132396
Abstract: An accessory for making patties from a vacuum filling machine uses a back and fro bidirectional sliding motion which alternately presents two or more openings to an output from a vacuum filling machine. In its simplest form, as a first opening is filled and a patty is shaped, simultaneously, in a second opening, a previously made patty is pushed out and the second opening thus liberated is slid back underneath the output from the vacuum filling machine to be filled while at the same time the first opening is emptied and then slid back underneath the output of the cacuum filling machine and so on. This unique simultaneous filling and emptying produces twice the yield that could be expected from a machine of a similar size.

  • Patent number: 6707830
Abstract: In accordance with the method and system of the present invention, a first link protocol utilizing a set mode command is sent from one or more transmit terminals to establish a link with one or more receive terminals. The set mode command comprises a frame format including an identifying byte field in accordance with International Telecommunication Union's Q.921 Annex E protocol specification. The one or more transmit terminals wait a predetermined T200 time interval to receive a response from the one or more receive terminals to determine if the link is established. If a response is not received from the one or more receive terminals, the one or more transmit terminals resends the set mode command a predetermined N200 times. If the link is still not established within the predetermined N200 times, a second link protocol utilizing a set asynchronous balanced mode extended command having a different identifying byte field in accordance with International Telecommunication Union's Q.

  • Publication number: 20020001315
Abstract: A system and method for compressing data packet headers in a lossy environment comprises circuitry that initially transmits a data packet with a full header and subsequently transmits data packets with compressed headers. The compressed headers include information that details the differences between the subsequent packets and the original full packet. Accordingly, each subsequent packet has a header whose differences are based upon the original full header of the first packet. Accordingly, a base station transceiver system includes circuitry for transmitting and receiving data packets utilizing the described header compression algorithm. Similarly, a mobile terminal is formed to receive and transmit data packet headers compressed in this manner.
