  • Publication number: 20160303929
Abstract: A tool is configured to install a tire pressure monitoring (TPM) sensor in a tire rim of a vehicle tire. The tool includes a lever having a rotational movement about a rotational axis; a cam selectively coupled to the lever; and a push pin selectively coupled to the cam. The cam translates the rotational movement of the lever into a liner or translational movement of the push pin. The linear or translational movement is effective to impact or move a roll pin of a tire pressure monitoring (TPM) sensor disposed at the tool, such that portions of the TPM sensor or pushed through an opening in a tire rim.

  • Patent number: 9248706
Abstract: An apparatus for coupling a TPMS wheel unit and a valve stem into an assembly, the assembly and the installation method therefore are disclosed. The apparatus comprises an elastic member configured to counteract in response to mechanical communication between a bulb and a wall, wherein the wall is comprised in the TPMS wheel unit and the bulb is comprised in the valve stem; and a fastening mechanism configured to couple the TPMS wheel unit, the valve stem and the elastic unit.

  • Publication number: 20150381108
Abstract: The invention relates to a photovoltaic system comprising at least one string of solar modules and a system for individually disconnecting the solar modules and for safely connecting or reconnecting the disconnected solar modules to the string. At least some of the solar junction boxes are “smart” and have a safety circuit that defines an operating state and a safe state. The solar junction boxes are switched from the safe state to the operating state, i.e. are activated, by injecting a starting current.

  • Publication number: 20150333509
Abstract: A protective circuit for a current transformer for preventing a secondary voltage on a secondary circuit of the current transformer from exceeding a secondary voltage threshold. A protective circuit input can be coupled to the secondary circuit of the current transformer such that the secondary voltage is applied to the protective circuit input. A control unit is connected to the protective circuit input. A switch unit is connected to the protective circuit input and is operatively connected to the control unit. The control unit is adapted to provide a control signal to the switch unit in response to the secondary voltage exceeding the secondary voltage threshold. The switch unit is adapted to short-circuit the protective circuit input in response to the control signal provided by the control unit. The switch unit is implemented as a semiconductor circuit.

  • Publication number: 20140301003
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a junction box for a solar panel, having a protective circuit that defines an operating state and a protected state. The protective circuit includes a short-circuiting switch between the output-side connecting elements of the first and second external connecting lines and an isolating switch between the short-circuiting switch and one of the poles of the solar panel, in which in the protected state, the short-circuiting switch short-circuits the output-side connecting elements of the first and second connecting lines to each other and the isolating switch disconnects the short-circuiting switch from the solar panel on at least one side.
