  • Patent number: 9283906
Abstract: In a vehicle with a power distributor and a control unit, the power distributor includes a bistable relay with at least one coil. The bistable relay can be set to first and second switching states. The bistable relay has an integrated circuit, wherein a control unit activates the integrated circuit by way of a control line and defines one of the two switching states via a control signal. The control unit applies a first control voltage or a second control voltage to the control line, wherein the first control voltage corresponds to the first switching state, and the second control voltage corresponds to the second switching state. The integrated circuit switches a current pulse through the coil in order to set the bistable relay to the switching state defined by the control unit.

  • Patent number: 8461636
Abstract: A ferroic component is described, comprising a ferroic layer (10) arranged between two electrodes (12,13), a thin-film field-effect transistor (4) whose gate electrode (3) forms one of the two electrodes (12, 13) of the ferroic layer (10) which is joined to the gate electrode (3) via an intermediate layer (11) acting as a bonding agent, and a substrate that is used as a support. In order to obtain a flexible component it is proposed that the thin-film field-effect transistor (4) on the one hand and the ferroic layer (10) which consists of an internally charged cellular polymer on the other hand are applied to the substrate which is arranged as a flexible plastic film (1), optionally by interposing an insulating layer (2) therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20130059196
Abstract: A galvanic cell is described, comprising an anode layer (1), a cathode layer (2) and an electrolyte layer (4) connecting the anode layer and the cathode layer (1, 2). In order to achieve high extensibility of the cell without impairing its function it is proposed that the paste- or gel-like layers (1, 2) for the anode and cathode, which are arranged next to one another at a distance and are separated from each other by an electrically non-conducting elastomer (3), are covered by the paste- or gel-like electrolyte layer (4) bridging the non-conducting elastomer (3) and are embedded together with the electrolyte layer (4) in an elastomeric jacket (7).
