  • Publication number: 20240134655
Abstract: A hardware-type-based multi-component personality configuration system includes a first component stock including first hardware type components having a first hardware type, a second component stock including second hardware type components having a second hardware type that is different than the first hardware type, and a component configuration system. The component configuration system identifies computing device order(s) for computing device(s) that include a plurality of components, and determines that a respective personality configuration in the computing device order(s) for each of a first subset of the plurality components included in the computing device(s) may be provided by the first hardware type components.

  • Publication number: 20240118771
Abstract: A proximity sensor including a structure suspending at least one lens above a circuit board, light emitters operable to project light beams through the lens along a common projection plane, light detectors operable to detect amounts of light arriving through the lens at the detector, wherein an object in the projection plane reflects light from an emitter to one or more of the detectors, and wherein each emitter-detector pair, including one of the emitters and one of the detectors, when synchronously activated, is expected to generate a greater detection signal at the activated detector than the other detectors, were they to be synchronously activated with any of the emitters, when the object is located at a specific 2D location in the projection plane corresponding to the emitter-detector pair, and a processor identifying gestures performed by the object based on amounts of light detected by the detector of each emitter-detector pair.

  • Patent number: 11915690
Abstract: A multi-channel transformer acoustic model that processes a plurality of audio signals output by microphones of a microphone array and outputs probabilities for acoustic units of an utterance represented in the audio signals. The audio signals represent the individual microphones' respective capturing of the utterance. The multi-channel model may perform self-attention on embeddings of the audio signals and then cross-channel attention across the attended audio signals. The cross-channel attention may involve processing of signals relative to each other to model the relationships across channels within and across time frames. The multi-channel model may include a transducer to perform processing frame-by-frame.

  • Patent number: 11067576
Abstract: A method for monitoring health maintenance by collecting an initial blood sample from an individual and dividing the collected blood sample into at least two parts. The first of the two parts is immediately analyzed for multiple blood components levels, and the second part is frozen immediately after the collection to be used at a later time as a comparative standard. After a period of time, a second blood sample is collected from the same individual and analyzed for the same multiple blood components levels in a parallel test with the frozen part. The results obtained from the second blood sample are then compared to the results from the frozen comparative standard to detect real changes in the multiple blood components levels over time.

  • Publication number: 20180345231
Abstract: An apparatus for releasing a gas into a liquid housed in a container has a gas assembly including a source of compressed gas; a float in fluid communication with the source of compressed gas; and a gas release member in fluid communication with the source of compressed gas and the float. The gas release member is adapted to release gas into the liquid. The float has variable buoyancy that causes the float and the gas release member to ascend and descend depending on the buoyancy of the float, the buoyancy of the float being reduced as the gas is released into the liquid.
