Patent number: 10184923Abstract: The invention relates to a chromatography column frame comprising at least two legs, a support arrangement connected to said at least two legs, and a holder means connected to said support arrangement. Said holder means is arranged to releasably hold an adaptor rod of a chromatography column, so that the adaptor rod is prevented to move in a horizontal direction and so the adaptor rod is allowed to move in a vertical direction. The invention also relates to method of conducting maintenance on and packing of a chromatography column.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2017Date of Patent: January 22, 2019Assignee: GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences ABInventors: Bjorn Haglund, Cheng Jiang, Martin Kling

Patent number: 10151312Abstract: Pump units include a rotatably arranged rotor (3) that is driven by a drive shaft (2), wherein the drive shaft (2) has a first bearing section (18) facing towards the rotor (3), and a second bearing section (19) facing away from the rotor (3). The first bearing section (18) is a first sliding bearing (20), and the second bearing section (19) is a second sliding bearing (21). The load-bearing capacity of the first sliding bearing (20) is limited by a predetermined working pressure in the pump unit. In the pump unit according to the invention, the load-bearing capacity of the sliding bearing (20) facing towards the rotor (3) is increased. According to the invention, the diameter of the first bearing section (18) of the drive shaft (2) and the first sliding bearing (20) is larger than the diameter of the second bearing section (19) and the second sliding bearing (21).Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2015Date of Patent: December 11, 2018Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Evgenij Skrynski, Marian Kacmar, Martin Kling, Oliver Laforsch, Sando Kunath

Publication number: 20170292516Abstract: There are already known pump units comprising a drive shaft (2) and a rotatably arranged rotor (3) that is driven by the drive shaft (2), wherein the drive shaft (2) has an inclined sliding surface (4) on an end side, which permits the rotor (3) to move back and forth by its rotor axis (5) about a drive axis (6) of the drive shaft (2), wherein the drive shaft (2) has a first bearing section (18) facing towards the the rotor (3), and a second bearing section (19) facing away from the rotor (3). The first bearing section (18) of the drive shaft (2) is arranged in a first sliding bearing (20), and the second bearing section (19) is arranged in a second sliding bearing (21). The load-bearing capacity of the sliding bearing facing towards the rotor (3) is limited up to a predetermined working pressure in the pump unit. In the pump unit according to the invention, the load-bearing capacity of the sliding bearing (20) facing towards the rotor (3) is increased.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2015Publication date: October 12, 2017Inventors: Evgenij Skrynski, Marian Kacmar, Martin Kling, Oliver Laforsch, Sando Kunath

Patent number: 8130996Abstract: A loud speaker group includes loud speakers which are equipped with joints on their front sides, and on their back sides, each is equipped with a mount for connectors with which the individual loud speakers can be connected to one another. For facilitating their assembly, the mount comprises two legs that are attached to the back side of the loud speaker box and enclose a channel in which the connector is displaceably movable. At its one end the mount has a row of holes for receiving a pin that extends through a hole on one end of a connector belonging to the adjacent loud speaker box and has at its other end a manually actuated spring-loaded snap-in pin. The snap-in pin is insertable through another hole disposed in front of the other end of the connector. One guide unit on each side of the snap-in pin limits the channel and are arranged perpendicular to the direction of movement of the connector and form guides for the connector.Type: GrantFiled: May 1, 2008Date of Patent: March 6, 2012Assignee: K & F Beteiligungen GmbHInventors: Martin Kling, Utz Ruescher

Patent number: 7510049Abstract: An acoustic transformer for transforming sound waves generated by, for example, a round membrane, into a rectangular wave front with reduced interfering resonances is provided in a form of a waveguide with a generally circular entrance and a generally rectangular exit defined by outer walls. The sound waves, arriving from the radiating membrane, are divided geometrically into two flows of sound waves of generally semicircular cross section. Each of the two flows of sound waves is deformed individually into a rectangular shape. Subsequently, the flows of sound waves are brought together once again at an acute angle. The division of the sound flow of circular cross section into two sound flows of semicircular cross section creates two sound flows, which already have a straight side surface. The two sound flows are passed into curved sound guides, which initially have a generally semicircular cross section and then gradually change over into a generally rectangular cross section.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2006Date of Patent: March 31, 2009Inventor: Martin Kling

Patent number: 7469683Abstract: A fuel supply system is provided for delivering fuel from a tank to an engine of a motor vehicle through a fuel line. The system is provided with a pressure relief valve to divert fuel from the fuel line during engine shut down conditions when fuel flow to the engine is not desired. The pressure relief valve has a fuel outlet that is provided with backpressure during engine operation. The backpressure enables the pressure relief valve to be set at a lower level because the backpressure is added to set point pressure to determine opening of the pressure relief valve. Lowering the set point of the pressure relief valve allows fuel to be diverted from the engine at a lower fuel line pressure. In one embodiment backpressure is provided by fluid communication from a jet pump supplying fuel from the fuel tank to a fuel system reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2007Date of Patent: December 30, 2008Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Paul Mason, Werner Schneider, John Lennen, Martin Kling, Martin Ptacek, David Liskovec, Martin Sykora, Thomas Wieland, Erik Hahmann

Patent number: 7088833Abstract: The invention relates to a loudspeaker combination comprised of at least two loudspeakers, of which one is preceded by a low-pass frequency filter, the other by a phase shifter in the form of an all-pass filter. The invention addresses the problem of providing with simple means a configuration simple of realization of such a loudspeaker combination, whose frequency response and whose radiation characteristic is significantly improved. The invention resides therein that the other loudspeaker or the other loudspeakers is/are each preceded by at least one phase shifter, with all phase shifters being tuned with respect to their phase setting to the phase position of the loudspeakers radiating lower tones, such that all loudspeakers radiate the low tones in like phase position.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2000Date of Patent: August 8, 2006Inventor: Martin Kling

Patent number: 5396872Abstract: The description relates to a fuel tank serving to provide fuel to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The fuel tank contains a vessel arranged therein, from which vessel a delivery unit pumps fuel to the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle and in which are arranged a plurality of jet pumps for filling the vessel, which jet pumps are connected to a line system which is charged with fuel by the delivery unit, the mixing tubes of the jet pumps opening out into the vessel. A reliable filling of the vessel with fuel is ensured in spite of the compact construction even when the tank is almost empty and under unfavorable operating conditions in that jet pumps connected in parallel to the line system are arranged at a common structural member and in that a suction line leads to each mixing tube, the openings of these suction lines remote of the structural member being situated in the tank at a distance from one another.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 1994Date of Patent: March 14, 1995Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Ernst Ruger, Gerhard Geyer, Martin Kling
