  • Publication number: 20060228171
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for fastening at least one elongate object, comprising a support part (2, 3, 4) and a connecting unit (8) that is provided with a stationary guiding part (9) which is joined to the support part (2, 3, 4) and an accommodating part (12), said accommodating part (12) movably engaging with the guiding part (9) while being able to engage with a fastening element. The guiding part (9) is embodied with an outer sleeve (10) that encloses a hollow guiding space. The cross section of the hollow guiding space is greater in a longitudinal direction than it is in a transversal direction. The accommodating part (12) is provided with an inner sleeve (11) which is movable within the hollow guiding space and whose diameter in the longitudinal direction is smaller than the diameter of the outer sleeve (10) in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 6462266
Abstract: A new photovoltaic cell is described, in particular a dye or solar cell having electrically conducting coatings on spaced, glass support panes. In its border zones, the cell is provided with a circumferentially extending seal. Furthermore, the electrically conductive conductor leads are protected against corrosion by an insulating coating on the side facing the cell inside. A method of manufacture of a photovoltaic cell of the type mentioned is described in which the electrically conductive leads are applied using a screen printing process.

  • Patent number: 6429165
Abstract: A polymer-bonded granular adsorptive, absorptive, chemisorptive, or catalytically active material and a process for producing molded bodies from this material. An objective was to develop a polymer-bonded granular adsorptive, absorptive, chemisorptive, or catalytically active material which is capable of forming an open-pore and sorptive foamed body at increased temperatures while not reducing the specific surface of the active material and with a binding effect only during the mixing and processing phases, as well as a process for producing molded bodies from this material. This objective was met by mixing and processing an adsorptive, absorptive, chemisorptive, or catalytically active fine-grained material together with a finely particulate, meltable polyethylene with the addition of a binding agent having an oligocondensate basis.

  • Publication number: 20020000229
Abstract: A method and apparatus in which a granular adsorbent, absorbent, chemisorptive, or catalytic material, particularly activated carbon is intermixed with (a) meltable polymer(s), and that the resulting mixture is heated under pressure and pressed into a molded piece (2). We propose to heat the mixture under pressure in a connecting part for a respirator or fan filter unit or in a connecting part (1) for an adapter for a respirator or fan filter unit, thereby positively and/or non-positively compacting it with said connecting part, and to make the connection between said connecting part (1) and said compacted mixture gastight.
