  • Patent number: 10080418
Abstract: The invention relates to a system module, which is carried on the back, for a work tool. The system module has a stand surface for setting down the system module in an upright manner. A carrying arrangement for the system module has at least one back panel and at least one shoulder strap. The back panel is formed with an upper shoulder portion and with a lower back portion. The back panel is extended beyond the back portion by a hip portion. The hip portion can be pivoted relative to the back portion about a movement axis. The movement axis extends at the level of the stand surface of the system module.

  • Patent number: 6766890
Abstract: A starter mechanism for an internal combustion engine for a motor-driven, manually-guided implement is provided. A clutch drum is rotatably mounted about a journal pin on a housing of the implement. The clutch drum is fixedly connected with a carrier of a ratchet for transfer of drive torque from the drum to the motor shaft. For the reversible engagement of the ratchet in a clutch member fixedly connected with the motor shaft, the ratchet has a pawl on the carrier that, with the aid of a guide element resting against a pawl pin, pivots during a starting process. On that side facing away from the carrier the pawl is spanned by an abutment element, at least in the region of its pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 5740613
Abstract: A trimmer has a drive motor, a cutting tool, and a drive shaft connecting the drive motor and the cutting tool. A protective tube encloses the drive shaft. A connector is provided for connecting a handle bar, having a first and a second section, to the protective tube. The first and second sections are parallel to one another, and the first section is connected to the protective tube. The first section has a free end with a first handle and the second section has a free end with a second handle. The handle bar is positioned asymmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the protective tube. The handle bar has a bent portion, with a first and a second bend, connecting the first and second sections. The bent portion is positioned adjacent to the connector. In the operating position of the trimmer, the longitudinal axis of the second section is displaced relative to the longitudinal axis of the first section along the longitudinal axis of the protective tube.
