  • Publication number: 20070162913
Abstract: A system and method for triggering a process in an enterprise system. The present invention includes a computer-implemented method, in which an application triggers the execution of a process in response to an external signal indicating a status change. An alternate method includes executing a process in response to an external signal and providing a user interface to each user associated with the process so the user can manage the user's process data. Examples of implementations of the present invention include a credit card system, an RFID tag system, an electronic tollgate system, an automated callback system, and an inventory transport system.

  • Publication number: 20070136024
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for an interface that generates a report including a series of load test results. An interface can generate such a report that includes a series of load test results by initiating load testing of a first and second application during a first and second test run, and initiating combining of test results of the first and second test runs. The report can individually characterize the test results as members of a series of test runs. Load testing and combining of test results can be initiated at a single interface.

  • Publication number: 20060200535
Abstract: Methods and computer systems are provided for handling incremental data in client-server communications. In one exemplary system, a server-controller is provided for receiving a modification-request from a client to modify an original model of an application component that is stored on the server into a modified model of the application component. The system may include a server-renderer for generating at least one browser-increment that corresponds to a difference between the original model and the modified model. Moreover, the system may include a client-assembler for receiving the at least one browser-increment from the server and updating at the client an original document object model (DOM) component of a browser component with the at least one browser-increment, resulting in a modified DOM component that corresponds to the modified model, such that the original DOM component corresponds to the original model. The system may also include a client-controller for generating the modification-request.

  • Publication number: 20060143227
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are generally directed to a system and method for persisting software objects. In an embodiment, objects are scanned with object introspection to identify the members of the object. The members are transformed into an intermediate data structure. The scan and transformation process can be influenced with configurable rules. If the object references another object, then the process is repeated recursively on the other object. Thus, in an embodiment, an entire object closure may be scanned and transformed into the intermediate data structure. The intermediate data structure is persisted in a data store.

  • Publication number: 20060129293
Abstract: The invention relates to a method that permits the determination of a steering-wheel torque for the steering wheel of a motor vehicle. A steering angle is predefined by the driver for the steered wheels by means of the steering wheel. A steering torque that represents the forces on the vehicle axis acts on the steering wheel. According to the invention, a manual torque (M_desired) is determined using at least one axle model. The manual torque is then superimposed on the steering-wheel torque M_actual).

  • Publication number: 20060129294
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for synchronizing the position (LH) of the steering handle and the steering angle (LH) which has been set at the steered vehicle wheels. By means of a control device it is possible to set a relationship function or steering characteristic curve (21, 22, 23) between the steering handle position (LH) and the steering angle (LW). After the control device has been activated, the instantaneous handle position (LH) and the instantaneous steering angle (LW) are compared taking into account the instantaneously set relationship function, and in the case of a deviation (S) in position a relative adjustment is carried out in order to reduce the deviation (S) in position between the handle position (LH) and the steering angle (LW).

  • Publication number: 20050283423
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for automatically updating individual conditions associated with a pending conditional financial transaction. As the price of a financial instrument varies, a pending conditional financial transaction may be issued to cause the financial instrument to be bought or sold whenever its price satisfies certain specified conditions. In the field of common stock transactions, the disclosed method automatically updates a pending conditional sell order, called a stop loss order, upon the occurrence of several conditions, such as when the current stop loss order has expired, when the current price of one share of the stock has risen a predetermined percentage above the current stop loss value, or when the total value of all of the shares of the stock has increased beyond a predetermined percentage limit. When a stop loss order is updated, a new stop loss value is calculated based upon the current price and a percentage leeway in the price.

  • Publication number: 20050268243
Abstract: A system and method for building a client application in a client-server network are disclosed. One system includes an HTML file that is requested from a server. An infrastructure script file is requested from the server based on a reference in the header section of the HTML file, and an infrastructure class instance is created. In the body section of the HTML file, the infrastructure class instance creates component instances based on one or more calls in the HTML file. To create the component instances, the infrastructure class instance first loads the component class script files from the server, and creates and links the component classes based on the component class scripts. Component instances are then created based on the linked component classes to thereby form the application.

  • Patent number: 6873891
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for coordinating multiple driving system devices of a vehicle by means of a co-ordination device. The driving system devices produce output signals according to the current driving state of the vehicle. In the coordination device, a result control signal is produced from the output signals and is used as a standard set value for directly influencing the driving state by means of the actuator devices of the vehicle and/or a parameter result signal is produced and used for influencing the regulating and/or control parameters of a driving state regulating system or driving state control system.

  • Patent number: 6814177
Abstract: A vehicle steering system has a steering grip, in particular a steering wheel, which is operated by the driver, an actuating unit which operates steered vehicle wheels, and a manual force regulator which is coupled via a flexible coupling element with the steering grip and simulates parameter-dependent steering forces on the steering grip. A damping device is provided for reducing the formation of vibrations between the steering grip and the manual force regulator. The damping device interacts with the steering grip either directly or indirectly to damp relative motions between the steering grip and the manual force regulator.

  • Publication number: 20030217331
Abstract: Method, system and computer program product for delta-handling. A server stores a page-document that comprises at least one component. The page-document is translated into a browser-document that is displayed by a client. The server receives a request from the client resulting in an update of a specific component of the page-document with an application-delta. The specific component has a writer-function. The server generates a browser-delta by applying the writer-function to the application-delta. The server sends the browser-delta to the client for updating the browser-document on the client.
