Abstract: A device for liquid-tight sealing of two partially overlapping packaging components. One of these is a tubular basic body. A further packaging component forms the packaging head or bottom, having at least one mandrel and one die. For the tubular basic body to be easily slid on to the mandrel and removed the expansion elements have sealing jaws which, in their working position, form a closed, encircling outer contour.

Abstract: Various beverage preparation machines having a multi-chambered basket unit are disclosed. The basket unit can be configured to accept multiple cartridge configurations. For example, some embodiments are configured to receive a first cartridge configuration in a first chamber of the basket unit and a second configuration in a second chamber of the basket unit. In various embodiments, the basket unit can rotate to allow selective accessibility of the first and second chambers. This can facilitate loading the cartridges into the appropriate chamber, such as loading the first cartridge configuration into the first chamber and the second cartridge configuration into the second chamber.

Abstract: A method and a device for supplying pouring elements arranged and aligned at a distance from each other and comprising a flange, wherein the pouring elements are each supplied directly strung together and are then separated. Acceleration of the first pouring element respectively may occur along a segment of a circle after brief stoppage of the following pouring element and transfer of the separated pouring elements to a further conveying path.
