  • Patent number: 11932054
Abstract: A wheel of a vehicle has a rim, a hub portion and at least two spokes connecting the hub portion to the rim. At least one spoke intermediate space between the spokes is at least partially covered by a single-piece cover element. A wing portion of the cover element is deformed axially away from the wheel when heat is supplied. The cover element is connected directly to the wheel, and the single-piece cover element is formed from a single material.

  • Publication number: 20230158719
Abstract: A method and compression mold are provided for producing a sandwich component, in which an outer shell and an inner shell are compressed, together with foam particles in a cavity between the shells, which cavity is formed by two mold halves of a mold, under pressure and at an increased temperature to form the sandwich component. At least one mold half is heated in a first temperature-control zone to a higher maximum temperature than in a second temperature-control zone.

  • Patent number: 10773507
Abstract: A method is provided for the preparation of a semifinished product made of fiber material with an upper side and with an underside prior to a wet-pressing process. The method includes following steps: arrangement of a semifinished product made of fiber material with the underside on a preparation area with a large number of suction apertures, application of a reduced pressure to the underside of the semifinished product by way of the suction apertures, and introduction of a flowable matrix material by way of the upper side of the semifinished product.

  • Publication number: 20180093434
Abstract: A method is provided for producing a composite fiber component with an integrated screw-in insert. A pressing tool is provided. The pressing tool has a first tool part and a second tool part that can be moved in relation to the first tool part. The parts form a cavity for receiving and forming a fiber preform, when the pressing tool is closed. A screw-in insert is connected to a screw device integrated into the first tool part. The fiber preform is arranged between the first and the second tool parts. The pressing tool is at least partially closed. The screw device is actuated in order to screw the screw-in insert into the fiber preform. The fiber preform is cured.
