An example system comprises a sensor sub-module, a processor sub-module, and a barrier structure configured to restrict flame spread between the sensor sub-module and the processor sub-module. The barrier structure comprises a first housing part, a second housing part, and a printed circuit board disposed in a cavity structure formed by the first housing part and the second housing part. The barrier structure further comprises a first electrical connector configured to provide a first electrical connection to the sensor sub-module.
