  • Patent number: 8282467
Abstract: An innovative approach is provided to cashless gaming providing extra security already offered by a gaming console. On a player withdrawing stored credits on a first gaming console, the value of credits are stored in a non-playable account on the first gaming console, while dispensing a ticket with information on the ticket linking the ticket to the non-playable credit account and the stored credit amount. A player may then insert or scan the ticket into a second gaming console which, using information on the ticket, queries the first gaming console to transfer the stored non-playable credits to the second gaming console for the player to continue using the credits.

  • Publication number: 20090258693
Abstract: The instant invention provides a method for determining by a first game (which may or may not be displayed to the player) a game outcome which is displayed to the player at least via a different second game representation, across a number of gaming machines where preferably all games being mapped are equivalent to permit a one to one correspondence in terms of prizes awardable. The method requires at least 2 lists of symbols with the first list (for example having a list of 6 sided die combinations) varying in order for each gaming machines, and the second list being a common list of game outcomes used on each gaming machine. For each combination in the first list, an index is used to point to a corresponding combination in the second list. By doing so, the first list upon receiving a dice combination acts as a filter to redirect which game outcome of the second list should be shown, thereby allowing games to use the same random numbers to show different game outcomes.

In further embodiments a jackpot prize is offered depending on the amount won in the primary game or alternatively on the number of winning lines, the number of loosing lines, or the winning wager in the primary game.
