Publication number: 20240190161Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for unique marking and to a method for the identification of products by identifying production inaccuracies in the spectral range of up to 3000 nm and to the use of said method for the unique identification of products/documents in serialization systems and/or track and trace systems and for document authentication. In order to increase the number of production inaccuracies up to a spectral range of up to 3000 nm, photoluminescent materials which, under photon excitation, emit radiation in the range of up to 3000 nm, preferably in the range of 750 to 1800 nm, most preferably in the range of 800 to 1100 nm, can be used. Said photoluminescent materials make it possible for production inaccuracies to be sensed from the spectral range of visible light (380 to 750 nm), via the near-infrared (NIR) range, to a spectral range of up to 3000 nm.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2022Publication date: June 13, 2024Inventors: Tobias Jochum, Waldemar Berchtold, Jan Niehaus, Bert Fischer, Christopher Krauss, Stephan Steglich, Martin Steinebach, Armin Wedel

Patent number: 8000757Abstract: A seal section for a side key of a portable electronic device is provided contiguously with a main seal. The seal section includes a flexible exterior and an exposed portion, the exposed portion facing the device exterior toward an adjacent side key. The flexible exterior also includes an extension opposite the exposed portion that extends inward toward the interior of the device. When a user depresses a side key, the inward movement of the side key is transmitted through the seal section via the exposed portion and inward extension. The inward movement of the side key is thus transmitted through the seal section to a switching element to convert the manual user input into an electrical input signal command. In this manner, side keys may be sealed without having to provide separate sealing elements, while maintaining the functionality of the side keys.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2008Date of Patent: August 16, 2011Assignee: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications ABInventors: Martin Wedel, William H. Patent number: 7810511Abstract: A device may include a receiving surface to receive a cleaning device adapted to clean a surface of a lens when the device is proximate to the surface of the lens. The device may further include a mounting surface to moveably support the device on a host surface, where the host surface further supports a lens. The mounting surface may further maintain the device in a first position that maintains the cleaning device proximate to the surface of the lens to remove a foreign object from the surface of the lens, and maintain the device in a second position that maintains the cleaning device away from the surface of the lens to allow the lens to receive optical information related to a subject.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2006Date of Patent: October 12, 2010Assignee: Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications ABInventors: Nils Gustav Fagrenius, Sven Rune Fredrik Palmqvist, Johan Martin Wedel, Carl Magnus Waldt, Eva Tina Rålin, Sten Ola Håkansson
