Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with cascaded memory tables for searching are described. In one embodiment, an integrated chip is implemented with two or more address tables. The two or more address tables are implemented with separate memory tables to store addresses. The two or more address tables are comprised of a first address table and a second address table. Connection lines connect the first address table and the second address table to create a cascaded address table. Search logic initiates a search of the first address table for an address. If the address is not found, the search logic initiates a search of the second address table through the connection lines.

Abstract: A dynamic HOL allocation module that supports, dynamically configurable classes of service, virtual output queues that support dynamically configurable HOL blocking factors, and dynamically configurable queue assignment schemes, is described. A user may define classes of service assigned to a source port within a network switch and may configure each class of service with a set of virtual output queues, or queue set. Each queue set may be configured to include a user configured number of virtual output queues based on an HOL blocking factor, e.g., 1:1, 1:24, etc., selected by the user for the class of service. Further, the assignment scheme used to assign packets received on a source port to a class of service and the assignment scheme used to assign packets assigned to a class of service to a virtual output queue may be dynamically configurable based on day, day/time, traffic load, alarm events and/or other factors.

Abstract: A first network device includes a first port to provide first data traffic to a first storage area network, a second port to provide second data traffic to a local area network, and memory shared between the first port and the second port to temporarily store the first data traffic in N first buffers and the second data traffic in M second buffers. A queue control module allocates a first memory space of the N first buffers to the first port and a second memory space of the M second buffers to the second port. An adjustment module adjusts a first amount of the first memory space and a second amount of the second memory space in response to a congestion event is caused by a first data traffic. Up to all of the first memory space and the second memory space is allocated to the N first buffers.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a network device. The network device includes a first port coupled to a first device to communicate with the first device, and a clock wander compensation module. The first port recovers a first clock based on first signals received from the first device. The clock wander compensation module includes a global counter configured to count system clock cycles based on a system clock of the network device, and a first port counter configured to count first clock cycles based on the recovered first clock. Further, the first port transmits a first pause frame to the first device based on the global counter and the first port counter.

Abstract: An apparatus for forwarding packets includes a packet processing pipeline having a processing unit that processes packets compliant with a recognized communication protocol. A first port coupled to the packet processing pipeline is configured to receive a packet that does not comply with the recognized communication protocol and has a header that conforms to a second communication protocol. A data extraction unit extracts first destination information from the header of the packet and, based on the first destination information, generates second destination information that conforms to the recognized communication protocol. The processing unit determines, based on the second destination information, an egress interface to which the packet is to be forwarded.

Abstract: This invention is concerned with providing apparatus for blending product within a container (10) by charging the container with product, applying a lid (l2) with an integral blending element (14) thereon. The product is blended by driving the blending element with an external drive (34) whilst the container is in an inverted position. The assembled and filled container is located in a holder (22) whilst in a generally upright position and the holder is moved to invert the container so that the lid is lowermost and the product is in contact with the blending element in which position the product is blended. Inversion may take place in a housing (23) in which the product may be heated to a blending temperature.

Abstract: An interlock for a stack of drawers. A pair of drawer slides mounts each drawer, the interlock assembly being fitted to the rear of one of the drawer slides. A housing has a plate slidably supported thereon biased towards the rear of the slide. An actuator having an actuating surface co-operates with an actuator follower slidably supported in the slide member for movement at right angles to the movement of the plate. Releasable latching means extends between the housing and plate. Releasable catching means extend between the plate and the actuator. When a drawer is moved towards an open position, the catching means causes the plate to move to a blocking position where it can be held by the latching means, causing the actuating surface to co-operate with a follower surface on the actuator follower to move the actuator follower from a first position to a blocking position.

Abstract: The invention is particularly concerned with providing a drive mechanism to extrude product from containers. In order to reduce the amount of effort which manual operation would entail there is provided a gear wheel 23 meshing with the driven gear through high ratio gearing, the driven gear 25 being associated with a cam 27 about which is located a cam follower 32. The cam follower carries a plunger arranged to move to engage the container 10 and discharge product therefrom.

A database containing voter registration information is downloaded from a central computer to a portable computer that is accessible at a polling station. The database can be searched by a proctor or official at the polling station to determine whether a prospective voter is eligible to vote at the polling station. The name or name and date of birth of the prospective voter is entered into a search field of the portable computer and the database is searched. If and when a matching record is found, additional information is displayed on a second screen and the proctor or official can make a determination whether the prospective voter is eligible to vote at the polling place.
