    Abstract: A method for preparing a composite filter medium (1), comprising a step of forming a first filter medium (8) through deposition of nanofibers (4) on a base fabric (2) through an electrospinning process and a step of covering said filter medium (1) by plasma deposition of a coating (7) on said first filter medium (8) in a vacuum chamber (9). According to the invention, after the electrospinning process and before the plasma deposition of the coating (7), a degassing step of the base fabric (2) and of the nanofibers (4) forming the aforementioned first filter medium (8) is provided inside the same chamber (9). With respect to the known filter media, that of the invention offers the advantage of maintaining the desired level of water and oil repellency, due to the formation of a completely polymerized coating strongly adhering to the surface of the base fabric and of the nanofibers.

    Abstract: A method for preparing a composite filter medium, which involves a step of forming a first filter medium by depositing nanofibers on a base fabric by means of an electrospinning process, a subsequent step of forming the filter medium through plasma deposition of a coating on the first filter medium and a step of forming irregularities on the surface of the coating, through plasma treatment of the filter medium obtained in the previous plasma deposition step. With respect to the known filter media, that of the invention offers the advantage of maintaining the desired level of water and oil repellency, without interfering with the secure adhesion of the filter medium to the body on which is located the opening to be protected against liquid infiltration.

    Abstract: A shaped component made of technical fabric for protection of the speakers of electronic devices with waterproofing characteristics of IPx7 degree or higher, which have water-tight speakers. In addition to the function of protection from solid particles, the invention is optimised for guaranteeing fast and efficient draining-off of the water that has penetrated into the water-tight speaker so as to recover as fast as possible the initial acoustic functionality, in an improved way as compared to the solutions currently available. The component according to the present invention comprises within it one or more openings covered by synthetic technical fabric with hydrophilic treatment, to guarantee rapid exit of the water that has entered the speaker module, and one or more openings covered by synthetic technical fabric with hydrophobic treatment, to favour entry of air into the volume in front of the speaker, thus ensuring proper emptying thereof.
