  • Patent number: 9272175
Abstract: This invention relates to an exercise device (1) and more particularly to an exercise device of the type that allows the user of the exercise device to exercise with part of their body in a negative pressure environment. These devices are becoming increasingly popular however the known devices are usually bulky, difficult to transport, difficult to install and difficult to maintain. The present invention provides a construction of exercise device that will enable the device to be transported and installed in a more efficient manner by providing the casing (3), in particular, in a number or pieces (21, 23) that can be connected together easily and quickly on site. The casing will still be sufficiently air tight. Furthermore, the construction of the present invention permits easier access to the interior of the casing (3) for cleaning/servicing purposes thereby simplifying cleaning and repair significantly.

  • Publication number: 20150079551
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a system which creates and delivers a meal plan to a user. The meal plan may be customized to suit the user, by drawing from recipes in the user's personal collection, and by enabling the user to specify goals relating to nutrition, budget, preparation time, etc. Once approved by the user, a meal plan may serve as a basis for a shopping list which includes items called for by recipes in the meal plan, and/or other items. The shopping list may form the basis for a delivery order submitted to a grocery provider, if the user so desires. As such, embodiments of the invention may enable the user to avoid expending the time and mental energy conventionally associated with planning meals and shopping for their ingredients.

  • Patent number: 8900098
Abstract: This invention relates to an exercise device and more particularly to an exercise device of the type that allows the user of the exercise device to exercise with part of their body in a negative pressure environment. These devices are becoming increasingly popular however the known devices are prone to frequent failure. The present invention provides a construction of exercise device that reduces the incidences of failure caused by failure of the electronics panel. The electronics panel being mounted in a separate dedicated enclosure internal the chamber with the negative pressure environment, the interior of the dedicated enclosure is isolated from the negative pressure conditions and atmosphere in the remainder of the chamber. The exercise device will be more reliable and cost effective to run. Furthermore, the construction of the present invention permits easier access to the interior of the casing for maintenance when maintenance is required.

  • Publication number: 20090320400
Abstract: The building material, in one embodiment, has a jointing system that is uniquely configured to cover the frame of a structure. This building material, in one embodiment, is a building board with a conforming flange that is embossed onto the board and adapted to engage or mate with an end of an adjacent board. In another embodiment, the building material is an engineered panel joint comprised of a building board and a flexible or hinged article attached to the back surface of the building board. The article is preferably attached to the building board by an adhesive and extends beyond the edge and away from the building board for receiving a fastener to fix the building board to the structure. The fastener is preferably a nail. Components of the building material are preferably attached to the frame of the structure through the use of a single row of nails while maintaining or enhancing the shear strength performance of the building board system.

  • Publication number: 20030182286
Abstract: A computer system records, secures and retrieves a plurality of record of discussions (RODs). RODs are generally customer contacts or meeting minutes. A system database stores the plurality of RODs. Each ROD includes an information set to distinguish each ROD. Each information set comprises data blocks stored in data tables. The data blocks are each transferred for storage in a data table using web pages. At least one of the web pages includes a field to assign a ROD security designator. Each user is also assigned a security designator or is specifically designated by an access list to view a ROD. The web pages thereafter allow a user either having the appropriate security designator or who is named to a ROD's access list to search and view selected RODs. The computer system is connectable via a scalable Internet-based environment with users in multiple organizations.
