Abstract: A garment carrier and support device for allowing a user to easily, comfortably and efficiently transport one or more hangers that each have clothing thereon and to support such hangers and clothing from a vehicular hook member, vehicular hand support, support rod or other fixture. The carrier device is particularly useful for transporting and hanging dry cleaning. The preferred carrier device has a handle member defining a handle grip, a cap member at the upper end of the handle defining a downwardly disposed hand contact surface, an upper curved arm adapted to hang the carrier member from the fixture and a lower curved arm configured to support the hangers. The hand contact surface distributes the weight of the clothing on the user's hand. An upwardly extending section near the distal end of the lower curved arm prevents the hangers from easily sliding off of the carrier device.

Abstract: A garment carrier and support device is provided for collecting, carrying, supporting, and transporting dry cleaning or other clothing hung on hangers.
