  • Publication number: 20070081089
Abstract: In an electronic image pickup apparatus where an object light after passing through a taking lens unit having a plurality of lenses is photoelectrically converted at an image pickup device to be recorded, the taking lens unit is constructed as having a reflecting mirror located between the lenses so that a light incident thereupon is bent, and is disposed such that it be positioned in front of an image display section provided on a back surface of the body with a length direction thereof being perpendicular to a bottom surface of the body. The electronic image pickup apparatus is thereby achieved as having a well-balanced configuration where the body is neither increased in thickness nor too long in a lateral dimension.

  • Patent number: 6035136
Abstract: A zoom lens barrel is intended to ensure precision in dimensions for a cam groove and contribute to realization of a compact and lightweight design and reduction in cost of manufacturing. The zoom lens barrel has a cam cylinder that is a cam member having a first cam groove and second cam groove, and a lens frame having a first cam pin to be engaged with the first cam groove, and a second cam pin to be engaged with the second cam groove. When the first cam pin formed on the lens frame moves along the first cam groove, the lens frame moves over a power varying zone that is a first zone in the direction of an optical axis. When the second cam pin formed on the lens frame moves along the second cam groove, the lens frame moves over a collapsing zone that is a second zone in the direction of the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 4658306
Abstract: According to a method of recording identification signals on a software recording medium of the invention, an identification signal is recorded in a left channel track of a soft tape, and an inverted signal of the identification signal is recorded in a right channel track of the soft tape. Non-inverted program signals are in the right channel and left channel tracks. For this reason, the identification signal and the inverted identification signal cancel each other in a program play mode of the soft tape.
