  • Patent number: 7553162
Abstract: The present invention relates to a socket for electronic component which contains an electronic component. The socket for electronic component comprises a platy base, containers formed to be concaved on a front face of the base and to contain LED packages therein, connectors provided on side faces and connected to other members, supports each of which supports and fixes the LED package contained in the container and electrically connected to the LED package, heat conductors each of which is provided continuously from a bottom face side of the container to a rear face of the base and contacts the LED package contained in the container so as to conduct heat generated by the LED package, and terminals electrically connected to the other members coupled with the connectors and the supports. The heat generated by the LED package is conducted to the rear face of the base through the heat conductors, and effectively radiated to an installation member on which the socket for electronic component is mounted.

  • Patent number: 7232242
Abstract: A lamp with a single base is mounted on a lamp holder by processes of contacting a second mounting face of the base with a first mounting face of the lamp holder and turning the base in a first turning direction with respect to the lamp holder. A plurality of engaging projections is formed on the lamp holder with which a plurality of engaging protrusions of the base is engaged, when the base is turned in a first turning direction. A pair of hooking receivers is formed on a mounting face of the lamp holder so as to be hooked with a hooking protrusion of the base. A pair of lamp holding springs is provided on the lamp holder for applying forces for restricting turning of the base in a second turning direction opposite to the first turning direction under a condition that the second hooking portion of the base is hooked with the first hooking portion. Thus, safety and reliability of mounting of the lamp on the lamp holder can be increased.

  • Patent number: 5746615
Abstract: A lighting device has a single end lamp in which a base is disposed at one end of a bulb, and a single end lamp socket into which the base is to be inserted and then twisted to be rotatively engaged with the socket. The lamp has a projection and a lamp pin both projected from a bottom of the base, the tip end of the projection being further projected from the bottom of the base than the tip end of the lamp pin. The socket has a recess into which the projection of the lamp is inserted and rotated by a predetermined angle, as well as a lamp pin insertion hole positioned outside of the recess and concentric with the recess, and having a substantially arcuate shape. A conductor plate which elastically makes contact with the lamp pin is disposed in the lamp pin insertion hole.
