  • Patent number: 5233431
Abstract: An image pickup device which, in placing a phase type optical low pass filter in front of a taking lens, is able to cope with the varying focal distances of the taking lens only by a single piece of phase type optical low pass filter and which is also able to obtain a large quantity of information to be used for focusing detection in the auto focusing (AF) operation. The image pickup device is composed of a taking lens having a variable focal distance, a solid state image pickup element on which an object light image is formed through the taking lens, a phase type optical low pass filter which is disposed in front of the taking lens in a freely rotatable manner, and a device for rotating the phase type optical low pass filter according to the focal distances of the taking lens so as to be able to remove a given spatial frequency component corresponding to the pixel pitch of the solid state image pickup element.

  • Patent number: 5203218
Abstract: A memory cartridge unloading system in which a memory cartridge inserted into a connector provided in a main body of an apparatus using a memory cartridge can be pulled out from the connector by use of a leverage mechanism. In the unloading system, the memory cartridge is moved in the discharge direction thereof by the leverage mechanism. In the leverage mechanism, the leverage thereof can be changed according to the positions of movement of the memory cartridge in the discharge direction, so that a first force can be generated until the memory cartridge is generated which can pull out the memory cartridge from the apparatus main body the second force being an amount necessary for a finger catch.

In the leverage mechanism, the leverage thereof can be changed according to the positions of movement of the memory cartridge in the discharge direction, so that a first force can be generated until the memory cartridge is pulled out from the connector. Thereafter, a second force less than the first force is generated which can pull out the memory cartridge from the apparatus main body, the second from being an amount necessary for a finger catch.

  • Patent number: 5151790
Abstract: An image pickup device for use in a general image pickup input apparatus such as a video camera, an electronic camera and the like to prevent generation of a false signal or moires. The image pickup device includes an optical filter interposed between a taking lens and an image pickup element. Due to this, the image of an object light is formed by the taking lens at a given image forming position, and a spot image at the image forming position enters the optical filter as a divergent light in a given circle and is then guided through the optical filter to the image pickup element. This can remove space frequency components corresponding to the pixel pitch of the image pickup element and prevent the optical aberrations from being unstabilized.

  • Patent number: 5146069
Abstract: A memory cartridge loading/unloading device is disclosed which loads and unloads a memory cartridge from an apparatus for using the memory cartridge by means of motor driving. In the loading/unloading device, until the memory cartridge reaches a given position within a main body of the apparatus, the memory cartridge is pulled in by rotating a roller which presses against the memory cartridge such that there can be produced a given friction force with respect to the memory cartridge. When the memory cartridge reaches the given position, then an engagement member is brought into engagement with the memory cartridge and then the engagement member is moved in a cartridge insertion direction by means of motor driving, so that the memory cartridge can be pushed into a connector disposed within the apparatus main body.
