  • Patent number: 7766633
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a compression section having an orbiting scroll with volutes that are substantially symmetrically formed on both surfaces of an orbiting base plate. A main shaft penetrates through and is fixed to a center portion of the base plate. A pair of fixed scrolls is placed on both surfaces of the orbiting scroll, and has volutes which correspond to the respective volutes of the orbiting scroll to form compression chambers. The main shaft has a notch part which is formed at a portion penetrating through the orbiting scroll and fixed scrolls. A slider is provided which has an eccentric hole including a flat slide surface corresponding to the notch part. The slider is fitted to the main shaft where the notch part is formed. The slider is made slidable in a direction orthogonal to a length direction of the main shaft by the flat slide surface.

  • Patent number: 6017203
Abstract: A high-performance and high-reliability scroll compressor which prevents seal property failure at seal necessary points, tooth tip contact, abnormal wear of an elastic body, fatigue failure, etc. A radially outward peripheral projection (4c) is formed on the full outer peripheral surface of a separation plate (4). The peripheral projection (4c) is set to an outer diameter reduced, relative to the inner diameter of the shell main body (9) before a shell lid (20) is sealed by welding, etc., by the dimension corresponding to the shrinkage amount of a shell main body (9). That is, before welding, a minute gap occurs between the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral projections (4c) and the inner peripheral surface of the shell main body (9). Then, the separation plate (4) is inserted into the shell main body (9) and further the separation plate (4) and a frame (3) are fixed.

  • Patent number: 5328342
Abstract: A scroll compressor features a pair of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll for forming a compression chamber; an orbiting bearing provided on the counter-compression chamber side of the orbiting scroll; a slider fitted to a slider fitting shaft at one end of a main shaft in such a way that the slider is slidable within a surface perpendicular to the axis of the main shaft, the slider being fitted in the orbiting bearing, a sliding direction of the slider is inclined toward the eccentric direction of the orbiting scroll by a predetermined amount in the rotational direction of the main shaft, in which a recess is provided on the groove end side in the eccentric direction of the slider. Further an elastic member is inserted in the recess between the groove end side in the eccentric direction and the slider fitting shaft while both ends of the plate are supported with respect to the recess.
