    Abstract: A sealing device for sealing between a valve body which is movably disposed in a valve box and which controls the flow of a fluid, and a tube which is connected to the valve box or is a part of the valve box and through which the fluid flows, is provided. The sealing device includes: a first seal portion which is a resin annular plate or film and is to be closely contacted with the outer surface of the valve body; and a cylindrical second seal portion which is formed from a material more flexible than that of the first seal portion, contacts the inner outer surface of the tube, and prevents the fluid from leaking from the tube. The first seal portion and the second seal portion are integrally joined. A flange joined to the first seal portion is formed on an edge of the second seal portion.

    Abstract: In a sealing device having a combination of a seal lip and a seal flange which slidably come into contact with each other, and having a thread groove in an axial end face of the seal flange, the seal lip installed to a not-rotating housing side slidably comes into contact with an axial end face of the seal flange in a rotating shaft side, and the thread groove achieves a fluid pumping action at the rotating time in an axial end face of the seal flange. The thread groove has an inner peripheral side inclined surface as a part of an inner surface thereof, and an angle formed between an inner peripheral surface of a leading end portion of the seal lip and the inner peripheral side inclined surface is set to a range of 0 degree±3 degrees. The sealing device can suppress generation of a static leakage.

    Abstract: A sealing device between a shaft hole formed on a housing and a rotary shaft, is provided with a rotating seal member fixed to the rotary shaft that rotates integrally with the rotary shaft, and a fixed seal member fixed to an inner surface of the shaft hole. The fixed seal member has a lip contacting the rotary shaft and an axial dust lip contacting the rotating seal member. The rotating seal member is formed by a rigid body, and an opening is formed on the rotating seal member connecting to a space defined by the rotary shaft, the lip and the axial dust lip of the fixed seal member, and the rotating seal member. A deformation member is disposed on the opening of the rotating seal member that has higher elasticity than the rotating seal member, which blocks the opening, and deforms based on the pressure in the space.
