  • Patent number: 9076274
Abstract: A door courtesy switch abnormality detection apparatus used in an on-vehicle system in which a door unlocked status is formed based on a wireless signal transmitted from an electronic key is disclosed. The apparatus is configured to generate information representing an abnormality in the door courtesy switch, if the electronic key in a cabin of a vehicle is detected by a antenna having the detection area thereof within the cabin of the vehicle in a situation where an ON/OFF signal of the door courtesy switch is not inverted after the door unlock operation is detected.

  • Publication number: 20150151714
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a wiper, a control portion that outputs a drive command such that the wiper is placed in a first state or a second state that is more restricted than the first state, and a checking portion that checks whether a mobile device is in the vehicle via wireless communication between an onboard device and the mobile device, when a door of the vehicle is opened or closed. If the door is opened while the wiper is in the first state, the control portion performs a first control that switches the operating state of the wiper from the first state to the second state, and then after a period of time for which the check by the checking portion is executed has passed while the wiper is in the second state, the control portion switches the operating state from the second state to the first state.

  • Patent number: 8207817
Abstract: An electronic key system which checks, using two-way communication, a key code stored in an electronic key against a key code stored in a lock device that locks an entrance to a predetermined space, and allows an unlocking operation of the lock device if the key code stored in the electronic key matches the key code stored in the lock device, is such that the key code includes an identification code unique to the electronic key and a property code indicative of a property of the electronic key (a master key or an additional key). The lock device erases a key code that includes a property code indicating that the key is an additional key, from among the key codes stored in the lock device, when a predetermined operation (including an operation using the master key) is performed.

  • Patent number: 7362006
Abstract: A steering lock for ensuring an unlock state when it is imperative that the steering lock remain in the unlock state. The steering lock includes a motor for generating drive force that engages and locks a lock bar with a steering shaft. The steering lock includes an ECU. When shifting the steering lock to the unlock state from a lock state, the ECU controls the motor to generate drive force acting in a direction to urge the lock bar to disengage from the steering shaft. The ECU continuously controls the motor to generate drive force acting in the direction to urge the lock bar to disengage from the steering shaft even after the lock bar has moved to the unlock position.
