A torque transmission mechanism 4 connects the steering shaft 5 and an input shaft 51 of a steering gear unit 49, and is capable of switching between a transmitting mode of mechanically transmitting torque between the steering shaft 5 and the input shaft 51 and a non-transmitting mode.

The bearing unit includes a thrust needle bearing which swingably supports a load in a longitudinal direction of the suspension device, and a slide bush which does not receive a load in the longitudinal direction and receives a load in a radial direction while causing constant damping to swinging.
