Abstract: A video printer has two video input terminals and two audio input terminals to which a video signal and an audio signal respectively are applied from a picture signal source. The input terminals are each connected to one of a first and a second selector which select the signal source. The output of the first selector associated with the video input terminals is connected to a third selector via a video amplifier and also connected to the third selector via an analog-to-digital converter, a memory for storing a video signal from the signal source, and a digital-to-analog converter. The video signal stored in the memory is sent to a thermal head under the control of a memory control and printed on a recording medium thereby. The output of the third selector is connected to a video output terminal, so that the video signal selected by the third selector is outputted. The output of the second selector is connected to an audio output terminal via an audio amplifier.

Abstract: A protective sheet protects a recording surface of a recording sheet. Plural recording sheets are stacked with the recording surface of the recording sheets oriented toward the protective sheet. The recording sheet is fed for recording while an advancing edge of the recording sheet is advanced. The protective sheet includes a discriminative mark, disposed away from the advancing edge and on a surface oriented opposite to the plural recording sheets for signaling presence of the protective sheet. For use with those sheets, a printer records with a thermal head on a recording surface of a recording sheet set on a platen drum in rotation of the platen drum. The advancing edge is clamped by a clamper on the platen drum. The recording sheets and the protective sheet are fed one after another toward the platen drum, to pass the advancing edge of the one fed sheet inside the clamper. The advancing edge at the clamper is detected by the position sensor.

Abstract: A camera having checking function in which part of a light beam passing through the conjugate system of the camera lens unit is taken out. The light beam taken is passed through a focusing optical system to focus an optical image on an imaging device, and the imaging device outputs a picture signal corresponding to the optical image focused.
