  • Patent number: 7036989
Abstract: A roller bearing oil feed device includes a plurality of rolling elements arranged in a plurality of rows in the axial direction between an outer ring and an inner ring, the inner ring being divided for each row of the rolling elements and a ring-shaped spacer being interposed at the position of this division, the inner rings and spacer being fitted onto a rotary shaft. A circumferential groove is provided in the inner peripheral section of the spacer and oil feed holes communicating with the circumferential groove are provided in the rotary shaft. An oil feed passage having an inlet opening into the circumferential groove and an outlet opening to a corner on at least one side in the axial direction of the spacer is provided in the spacer.

  • Publication number: 20030185477
Abstract: Fretting wear at the locations of contact between rolling elements and an inner ring is prevented even in the case where the outer ring and the inner ring of a roller bearing are rotating in synchronization. In a roller bearing oil feed device in which a plurality of rolling elements are arranged in a plurality of rows in the axial direction between this outer ring and inner ring, the inner ring being divided for each row of the rolling elements and a ring-shaped spacer being interposed at the position of this division, the inner rings and spacer being fitted onto a rotary shaft, a circumferential groove is provided in the inner peripheral section of the spacer and oil feed holes communicating with the circumferential groove are provided in the rotary shaft and an oil feed passage having an inlet opening into the circumferential groove and an outlet opening to a corner on at least one side in the axial direction of the spacer is provided in the spacer.

  • Patent number: 6481541
Abstract: A simple arrangement (60) for lubricating a countershaft brake (58). A countershaft brake (58) is attached to an end of a countershaft (12) of a transmission (2), and a counter gear (16) is mounted on the countershaft (12) near the countershaft brake (58). An oil pool (62) is formed in a transmission housing (61) to immerse at least part of the gear (16) when the counter gear (16) is not rotating. A plate member (63) extends over the oil pool (62) for obstructing oil splashed up by rotations of the counter gear (16). An oil passage (64) is formed for introducing the oil obstructed by the plate member (63) to the countershaft brake (58).
