  • Patent number: 9316750
Abstract: A radiation image capturing system includes a radiation source and a radiation image detecting device. The radiation image detecting device includes a solid-state detector and a wavelength conversion layer disposed in this order from a radiation incident side. The wavelength conversion layer has a first phosphor layer having first phosphor particles dispersed in a binder, and a second phosphor layer having second phosphor particles dispersed in a binder. The average particle diameter of the second phosphor particles is smaller than that of the first phosphor particles. The first phosphor layer is disposed on the side of the solid-state detector relative to the second phosphor layer, and joined to or pressed against the solid-state detector. The first and second phosphor particles are distributed in the first and second phosphor layers, respectively, such that the weight of the binder per unit thickness is gradually decreased to the side of the solid-state detector.

  • Patent number: 7717018
Abstract: A machining unit that is supported on a machine tool and machines a workpiece by a revolving tool with a main spindle section being driven and rotated includes an eccentric rotational section, a tool holder, a tool revolution-radius changing mechanism, and a cutting-edge-orientation correcting mechanism. The eccentric rotational section is disposed on the main spindle section, and is rotatable about an eccentric axis that is located eccentrically at any distance in a radial direction of the main spindle section from a rotation center of the main spindle section. The tool holder is disposed on the eccentric rotational section, and supports the tool. The tool revolution-radius changing mechanism moves the tool in the radial direction, and changes the radius of the revolution of the tool by rotating the eccentric rotational section about the eccentric axis.

  • Patent number: 6827920
Abstract: A method for preparing barium fluorohalide-based crystal, which includes at least a step in which a halide aqueous solution (B) and aqueous solutions of a fluoride and a barium salt are mixed into a halide aqueous solution (A). The halide aqueous solution (B) contains the same halogen as that contained in the halide aqueous solution (A). In this method, halide ions are used efficiently rather than remaining to form a waste residue.
