  • Publication number: 20020107642
Abstract: In order to provide a method and apparatus which prevent order loss from occurring due to an analyzer user's human error, a method of managing consumer goods used in an analyzer consists of a step of monitoring consumption status of consumer goods consumed by an analyzer and transmitting the monitoring results, a step of receiving the consumption status information, a step of analyzing the consumption status of consumer goods used in an analyzer according to consumer goods supplier and according to consumer goods that said consumer goods suppliers deal in, a step of transmitting the analyzed consumer goods consumption status and supply management information to a management unit for the analyzer, consumer goods suppliers' supply management units or a supply management unit for a consumer goods vendor, a step of confirming supply status based on the consumer goods supply management information, and a step of requesting payment from an analyzer administrator, consumer goods suppliers or a consumer goods vendor

  • Publication number: 20020106815
Abstract: In order to provide the methods and equipment that enable the reduction of the total time required for reagent setup even in, and hence, the simplification and acceleration of the startup of, an analytical apparatus in which a plurality of reagent manufacturers are involved, the method of reagent setup in an analytical apparatus can be implemented by incorporating steps in which: reagent-dependent parameters on the required reagents of a plurality of reagent manufacturers are to be entered; the reagent-dependent parameters corresponding to the particular specifications of the analytical apparatus are to be stored in batch form into a storage medium; the batch-stored reagent-dependent parameters corresponding to the analytical apparatus specifications are to be registered in the corresponding analytical apparatus by use of the storage medium, and; a series of data measurements based on the batch-registered reagent-dependent parameters corresponding to the analytical apparatus specifications are to be performed

  • Patent number: 5709578
Abstract: A cold cathode fluorescent discharge tube is provided having, as an anode standing for one of discharge electrodes, a mercury discharge structure comprising a metal sintered body formed by sintering powder of a high melting point metal such as titanium, with mercury combined with the metal sintered body. The mercury discharge structure is so formed as to contain a large amount of mercury and is therefore permitted to have a compact shape in order to obtain a requisite amount of mercury. The cold cathode fluorescent discharge tube permits a sufficient amount of mercury to be sealingly incorporated in the interior of the tube without decreasing the ratio of the effective luminescent length to the total length, having suitability to diameter reduction, and can be produced at low cost.

  • Patent number: 5496888
Abstract: Resin compositions, comprising (A) a styrene/acrylic polymer and (B) a polyester dispersed therein with an average particle size of not more than 3 .mu., are obtained by quenching a mixture of (A) and (B) melted at 150.degree.-200.degree. C., below the glass transition temperature of the polymer (A) within 5 minutes, and are of good thermal shelf stability and electrical properties and provide toner binders of high hot offset causing temperature and improved low temperature fixing properties.

  • Patent number: 5185405
Abstract: Resin compositions, comprising a high molecular weight copolymer having a molecular weight of at least 300,000, obtained by copolymerizing a styrenic monomer and an acrylic or methacrylic monomer, with or without another monomer, in the presence of a polyfunctional polymerization initiator, have wide molecular weight distribution and are suitable as binders for electrophotographic toners.
