    Abstract: A coating composition for the air bag which comprises(A) an organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 300 cSt or more at 25.degree. C. which is represented by the average composition formula (1) below;R.sub.a.sup.1 SiO.sub.(4-a)/2 (1)(where R.sup.1 denotes a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and a is a positive number from 1.98 to 2.01.)(B) An organosilane or a partial hydrolyzate thereof having an isocyanate group and a hydrolyzable group in the molecule.(C) An organic peroxide.(D) An organohydrogenpolysiloxane having in the molecule three or more .tbd.SiH groups.It exhibits good self-adhesiveness and gives rise to a coating film which firmly bonds to a base cloth of polyamide or polyester. The adhesion remains stable for a long period of time. In addition, the coating film is almost non-tacky because the coating composition is cured well even by an organic peroxide.

    Abstract: A silicone rubber laminate including a conductive layer of cured silicone rubber containing carbon black and a dielectric layer of cured silicone rubber stacked and integrated to each other. The bonding force is enhanced by applying to the conductive layer a dielectric uncured silicone rubber composition comprising (a) an organopolysiloxane containing at least two alkenyl groups per molecule, (b) an organopolysiloxane containing at least two SiH groups per molecule, (c) reinforcing silica, (d) an organic silicon compound having an alkenyl group per molecule, and (e) a platinum catalyst, the molar ratio of the SiH group in component (b) to the total alkenyl group in components (a) and (d) ranging from 1:1 to 4:1, and curing the composition.

    Abstract: An acrylic rubber composition is proposed which is improved in respect of the extrusion-moldability as well as the surface slipperiness of the vulcanized article obtained therefrom. The composition comprises (a) an acrylic rubbery cooplymer which is a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic ester and a coolymerizable organosilicon compound having a silicon-bonded vinyl group in a molecule, (b) a reinforcing filler, (c) a powder of spherical particles having a specified average particle diameter and (d) an organic peroxide as a vulcanizing agent. The composition can be compounded further with a blowing agent to give a foamable rubber composition capable of being vulcanized into a spongy rubber body exhibiting excellent feeling on touch and slipperiness in contact with human skin to be useful, for example, as a material of cosmetic puffs.

    Abstract: An efficient method for the preparation of a foamed and cured silicone rubber body having a uniform fine-cellular structure, in which a foamable silicone rubber composition is prepared by uniformly compounding a diorganopolysiloxane, finely divided silica filler, titanium dioxide powder, blowing agent and curing agent, each in a specified weight proportion, and irradiating the thus prepared composition with microwaves having a frequency of 900 to 5000 MHz which, by virtue of the titanium dioxide powder having a high dielectric constant, are efficiently absorbed and converted to heat, whereby the composition is evenly heated throughout the body to cause uniform foaming and curing.
