  • Publication number: 20040094846
Abstract: A wiring terminal is formed on a wiring substrate, and an electrode is formed on a semiconductor device. The width of the wiring terminal is smaller than the width of the electrode. When the semiconductor device is mounted on the wiring substrate, the wiring terminal becomes embedded in the electrode due to applied pressure.

  • Patent number: 5429484
Abstract: A metallic diaphragm is provided within a pump chamber. This diaphragm is oscillated by a stem to Feed liquid medicine. The stem is provided with a plate and a movement of this plate, i.e., a stroke of the stem is limited by a pair of stoppers. Relative position of the paired stoppers at which they limit the stroke is adjusted by providing the paired stoppers with threads which are handed reversely to each other so that the paired stoppers are moved by amounts equal to each other during a change of the relative position. The stem carries thereon a piston which is, in turn, vertically movable within a cylinder chamber into which compressed air is introduced to oscillate the stem. A plurality of such pumps are successively connected one to another, stop valves are connected upstream as well as downstream off the respective pumps and a suck-back pump of the same construction as the liquid feed pump is connected immediately before a liquid filling device.

  • Patent number: 5427357
Abstract: A control valve comprises a valve body having a fluid channel and a valve seat; a valve operating part; a valve stem supporting member having its upper end fixed to the valve operating part and its lower end fixed to the valve body; a valve stem penetrating the valve stem supporting member and having its upper end part connected to the valve operating part and its lower end part entering the valve body, the valve stem being movable upward or downward by the valve operating part; and a valve element attached to the lower end of the valve stem. The valve element is moved upward or downward by moving the valve stem upward or downward, the valve element being brought into contact with and seated in the valve seat to close a fluid channel as it is moved downward, the valve element being detached from the valve seat to open the fluid channel as it is moved upward.

  • Patent number: 5398725
Abstract: A flow control device has a case formed in a lower portion thereof with a fluid channel and a disk seat at an intermediate portion of the channel. A spindle housed in the case has a disk at its lower end and a rollable member at its upper end and is biased by a spring to press the disk against the seat. The case is provided in an upper portion thereof with a rotary shaft having an upwardly projecting handle or sidewise projecting lever handle. The shaft has a rollable member seat which is annular or circular-arc when seen from above and which is formed with a protuberance for lifting and lowering the rollable member as placed on its seat. Rotation of the shaft moves the protuberance, which in turn raises the rollable member to lift the spindle and hold the disk away from the disk seat. The rotation of the shaft reliably opens or closes the channel, or reliably effects a change-over between fluid channels.

  • Patent number: 5178366
Abstract: A fluid flow control valve is provided with a seal comprising a thin metallic film backed by a resiliently deformable body. The seal is mounted on a closure part which may be either the valve stem or the valve seat. The thin film and deformable body are deformed so as to conform to the surface the metallic film seals against as the valve is closed. As the valve is opened, the deformable body returns to its initial state thus returning the thin film to its initial state.

  • Patent number: 5161571
Abstract: A check valve comprises a valve body having inlet and outlet passages and a cavity in which a diaphragm operates. The inlet passage connects with the cavity through an upstream wall partly defining the cavity and the outlet passage connects with the cavity through a downstream wall partly defining the cavity. The diaphragm has an annular sheet metal part which is secured to one of the walls and carries a movable seal. The movable seal cooperates with a sealing element to provide a circular fluid seal. In a first embodiment, the inlet passage connects with the cavity through openings located inside the periphery of the circular fluid seal. In a second embodiment the inlet passage connects with the cavity through openings located outside the periphery of the circular fluid seal. The movable seal may be a sealing surface in which case the sealing element is a seal ring, or the movable seal may comprise a seal ring in which case the sealing element is a sealing surface.

  • Patent number: 4804164
Abstract: A flow control device comprising a spindle having a disk at its lower end and a handle at its upper end and spring-biased to bring the disk into pressing contact with a disk seat within a case, a closure having a top wall, and at least one rollable member resting on the upper surface of the closure top wall and mounted on the spindle at an upper end portion thereof projecting upward from the upper surface of the closure top wall. The closure is formed in the upper surface of its top wall with a lower recessed portion for the rollable member to partly fit in, an upper recessed portion for the rollable member to partly fit in and a slanting guide face between the two recessed portions. The rollable member is movable by the rotation of the handle to partly fit into the lower recessed portion to thereby hold the disk in pressing contact with the disk seat or to partly fit into the upper recessed portion to thereby hold the disk away from the disk seat.
