Abstract: An operational amplifier includes a first output transistor connected between a higher potential power source terminal and an output terminal and a second output transistor connected between a lower potential power source terminal and the output terminal. The first and second output transistors are on/off controlled by a sequence control circuit according to a control signal. The sequence control circuit includes a first inverter which produces a first internal control signal for on/off controlling the first output transistor and a second inverter which produces a second internal control signal for on/off controlling the second output transistor. When the control signal changes from a high to a low level, the first internal control signal is inverted after the inversion of the second internal control signal. When the control signal changes from a low to a high level, the second internal control signal is inverted after the inversion of the first internal control signal.
