  • Patent number: 7926380
Abstract: A resin gear has a plurality of teeth on an outer periphery thereof. One surface of each tooth has a tooth plane which meshes with another gear. The tooth thickness is substantially uniform from a tooth tip to a tooth root. A reinforcing rib is provided on the surface of each tooth on the opposite side from the tooth plane.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 2, 2007
Date of Patent: April 19, 2011
    Assignee: Murata Machinery, Ltd.
    Inventor: Masahiro Fujimaru
  • Patent number: 7343107
Abstract: An image forming device includes a front cover which can be opened and closed, a remaining amount detecting sensor for detecting a remaining amount of toner, and a moving mechanism which moves the remaining amount detecting sensor between a retracted position and a detecting position. The moving mechanism includes a link member, an urging spring, and a sensor mounting member. The remaining amount detecting sensor is elevated and lowered via the sensor mounting member directly by the movement of the link member.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6384940
Abstract: The present invention relates to a facsimile device utilizing an improved process unit for an electrophotographic image recording device. The process unit includes a development unit and a photosensitive (drum) unit. These two units can be integrally engaged with each other and the combined two units is as a whole removable from/attached to the facsimile device when maintenance is required due to jammed paper or the like. When one of the units is to be replaced with a new unit because of exhaustion or the like, the combined two units can be separated and subject to maintenance (replacement). In the present invention, this process unit is accommodated in a main body frame of a facsimile having an image recording part such that the unit can be removed from/attached to the main body frame in the vertical direction. A scan part frame having a continuous document scan part and a flat head bed scanner is rotatably mounted on the main body frame.
