  • Publication number: 20160245782
Abstract: Packing a column with a chromatography medium at prescribed compression factor, and then passing a mobile phase through the column packed with the chromatography medium while switching the mobile phase flow direction two or more times. According to the present invention, a small-diameter chromatography column packed uniformly and densely as well as a large-diameter column can be reproducibly prepared. The small-diameter chromatography column prepared in this way has the asymmetry factor of not less than 0.80 and not more than 1.80.

  • Publication number: 20100317075
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polypeptide having an activity to asymmetrically reduce (3S)-1-chloro-3-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-4-phenyl-2-butanone to produce (2R,3S)-1-chloro-3-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-4-phenyl-2-butanol isolated from a microorganism belonging to the genus Ogataea, a DNA encoding the polypeptide and a transformant that produces the polypeptide. The present invention moreover relates to a method of producing (2R,3S)-1-chloro-3-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-4-phenyl-2-butanol utilizing the polypeptide or the transformant. Using the polypeptide or transformant of the present invention, optically active alcohols such as (2R,3S)-1-chloro-3-tert-butoxycarbonylamino-4-phenyl-2-butanol and the like can be produced efficiently.

  • Publication number: 20080290582
Abstract: The present invention discloses a pile board for a printing press, waste-free and easy to handle. The sheet pile board 1 comprises a base 10 formed with a resin having a piling face 12 on which said printing media are piled up, and grooves 11 formed on said piling face and insertable of a supporting member to support said printing media, and a metallic reinforcing member 20 provided in said base 10. The sheet pile board 1, wherein the base 10 is formed with resin, is lower in strength of the base 10 itself than that of a wooden base, but is significantly strengthened because four metallic pipes 20 are buried in the rear face. Even when piling up a large quantity of heavy printing media, the sheet pile board 1 is properly piled with them and supports them without bending.
