  • Patent number: 8358217
Abstract: A stationary induction apparatus has: a winding to which AC current is supplied; an electrostatic shield which includes an electrostatic shield member having a hollow and an electrically conductive film wound around the electrostatic shield member, and which is configured to suppress the electric field of the winding; a housing which contains the winding, the electrostatic shield and the insulating fluid; an IC tag which has a sensor arranged in the hollow of the electrostatic shield member and configured to detect position of the electrostatic shield member, and a transmitter unit configured to transmit, by radio, information acquired by the sensor as a high-frequency signal having a frequency much higher than the frequency of the AC current; and a receiver unit which is arranged in the housing, receives the high-frequency signal transmitted by radio from the IC tag and transmits, by wire, the signal outside the housing.

  • Patent number: 8269126
Abstract: The invention provides a gas insulated switchgear, and a method for detecting arc damage in a part used in a gas insulated switchgear, which detect directly when an electric contact or a peripheral part reaches an initially set wear limit. An insulating nozzle of a circuit breaker contains a marking substance that releases a gaseous substance inside a circuit breaker gas container as a result of wear by an arc. For ensuring heat resistance and insulation properties, the insulating nozzle is ordinarily formed of a fluororesin, but in the present invention, it is formed of the ordinarily used fluororesin having uniformly mixed therein, as the marking substance, a chlorine-containing resin which has excellent heat resistance and insulation properties such as polyvinylidene chloride.

  • Patent number: 5525158
Abstract: A thin film deposition apparatus for use in a semiconductor manufacturing process or the like, is provided to, in particular, deposit a diffusion barrier thin film onto a substrate having a concave portion with a relatively high aspect ratio (hereinafter referred to as a contact hole). In the thin film deposition apparatus, a small surface and point source or a ring-shaped source is employed, evaporation is performed under such a condition that the Knudsen number K.sub.n =.lambda./H (a ratio of a mean free path .lambda. of an evaporation material particle to a distance (H) between the evaporation source and the substrate) becomes 0.1 or more, and a relation of the substrate and the evaporation source is set according to the aspect ratio of the contact hole, resulting in deposition of the thin film with good coverage on a bottom surface of the contact hole.
