  • Patent number: 11378406
Abstract: The determination device acquires a first distance information measured by a measurement unit and indicating a distance from a movable body to an object, and a second distance information estimated by an estimation unit and indicating the distance from the movable body to the object. Also, the determination device acquires own position accuracy information of the movable body. Then, the determination device determines presence or absence of deviation larger than a predetermined value between a position of the object in map information and the position of the object in real environment, based on a difference value of the distances indicated by the first distance information and the second distance information and the own position accuracy information.

  • Publication number: 20220163680
Abstract: The own vehicle position estimator 17 of the in-vehicle device 1 acquires the predicted own vehicle position X? (t) that is a predicted value of the present position and the orientation of the moving body. Then, the own vehicle position estimator 17 acquires: the relative angle L? (t) that is first orientation information indicative of the orientation of the landmark with respect to the vehicle specified based on the measurement data of the landmark by the lidar 2; and the relative angle L?? (t) that is second orientation information indicative of the orientation of the landmark with respect to the vehicle into which the orientation of the landmark indicated by the landmark information is converted. The own vehicle position estimator 17 corrects the predicted own vehicle position X?(t) based on the difference between the relative angle L?(t) and the relative angle L??(t).

  • Patent number: 11203349
Abstract: If a controller determines the calculation of a measured vehicle body velocity is possible, the controller calculates the measured vehicle body velocity as an estimated vehicle body velocity to conduct update processing for a K table and an AB table. If the controller determines the calculation of the measured vehicle body velocity is impossible, the controller extracts a conversion coefficient from the K table based on a detected running state while extracting a sensitivity coefficient and an offset coefficient from the AB table based on the temperature by a temperature sensor. The vehicle mounted apparatus calculates an axle pulse-based vehicle body velocity from the extracted conversion coefficient while calculating an acceleration-based vehicle body velocity from the extracted sensitivity coefficient and offset coefficient.
