  • Publication number: 20130055281
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a plurality core sections, an uncore section, and a scheduler. The plurality of core sections correspond to processor cores in a multi-core processor. The uncore section is a resource shared by the core sections. The scheduler controls execution timing for a first process so as to make an unused core section execute the first process in a period in which a second process other than the first process is executed by a part of the plurality of core sections. Controlling the execution timing for the first process is permitted.

  • Patent number: 8047342
Abstract: A strut type shock absorber (1) comprises an outer shell (2) and a knuckle bracket (3). A curved portion (4) of the knuckle bracket (3) positioned in close contact with the outer shell (2) comprises a reinforcing flange (7) formed by bending a part of an axial end of the curved portion (4) outward and a no-flange portion (6), both of which are welded onto the outer shell (2). By setting an axial distance (H) from an inflection start point to an inflection end point of the outer circumferential surface of the reinforcing flange (7) to be equal to an axial distance from the inflection start point to the no-flange portion (6), and by forming an insulation portion (9) between the reinforcing flange (7) and the no-flange portion (6), an effectual welding operation and the prevention of molten metal from flowing over the reinforcing flange (7) during welding are realized.

  • Patent number: 7793971
Abstract: In a strut type shock absorber (1), a lower cap (2) is welded onto an inner circumferential surface of an outer shell (3) at a step (16) formed in a retreated position from an axial tip of the outer shell (3). The axial tip of the outer shell (3) is welded onto the inner circumferential surface of a knuckle bracket (6) which holds the outer shell (3). Since welding of the lower cap (2) onto the outer shell (3) and welding of the knuckle bracket (6) onto the outer shell (3) are conducted at different positions, the lower cap (2) is welded onto the outer shell (3) without suffering from blowholes irrespective of the material forming the knuckle bracket (6), and as a result, a weld bead (17) having a high degree of air-tightness is formed.

  • Publication number: 20090269585
Abstract: The complex oxide particles of the present invention are conductive and exhibit a black color. The particles contain cobalt in an amount of 40 to 65% by mass in terms of the metal element based on the whole particles and at least one kind or two or more kinds of metals selected from copper, nickel and molybdenum. The particles are preferably prepared in the following manner: an aqueous solution of mixed metal salts prepared from water-soluble salts, wherein the aqueous solution contains cobalt and one kind or two or more kinds of metal element selected from copper, nickel and molybdenum, is mixed and neutralized with an alkali hydroxide to obtain a metal hydroxide slurry; the resultant slurry of metal hydroxides is kept at a pH of 10 to 13 and oxidized at a temperature of higher than 40° C. and 60° C. or less to obtain a precursor slurry; the resultant precursor slurry is aged at 80 to 150° C.; and then, after solid-liquid separation, the resultant solid is heated at 400 to 700° C.

  • Patent number: 7441637
Abstract: In a hydraulic shock absorber (1), a piston rod (5) protrudes from a cylinder (3) filled with hydraulic fluid. A rebound cushion (8) is fitted to an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod (5) in the cylinder (3). A stopper (6) fixed to the cylinder (3) contacts the rebound cushion (8) at an protrusion limiting position of the piston rod (5) to prevent further protrusion of the piston rod (5). An oil pool (8a, 9, 10, 15) formed in a sliding surface (8a, 14) of the rebound cushion (8) supplies oil to the sliding surface that slides on any of the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder (3) and the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod (5) to ensure smooth relative rotation of the piston rod (5) at the protrusion limiting position and the cylinder (3).
