  • Patent number: 8099053
Abstract: Remote control data is securely transmitted to a device under control. A remote control device transmits an acknowledge request for A ch to the device under control (S21). When the device under control has assigned A ch as the reception channel, acknowledge ACK is received. A ch is assigned as the transmission channel (S23), and a command frame is transmitted through A ch (S24). When acknowledge ACK has not been received, an acknowledge request for B ch is transmitted to the device under control (S25). When the device under control has assigned B ch as the reception channel, acknowledge ACK is received. B ch is assigned as the transmission channel (S27), and a command frame is transmitted through B ch (S28). The remote control device can transmits a command through a channel through which the device under control can receive the command, so that secure remote control can be accomplished.

  • Patent number: 8085127
Abstract: A remote controlling apparatus for a remote controlling system of wireless communication type is disclosed. The remote controlling apparatus includes a broadcasting section, a receiving section, a detecting section, and a setting section. The broadcasting section broadcasts a predetermined signal in a lower transmission output state than in a regular communication state. The receiving section receives acknowledge and reception state electric field intensity information from at least one device under remote control. The detecting section detects a device under remote control having highest reception state electric field intensity as a nearest device. The setting section sets the nearest device as an object device under remote control.

  • Publication number: 20110307726
Abstract: A remote controller 10 sets, in step S1, a period of time Tx in which a reception mode is maintained after an instruction is transmitted. A generated instruction is transmitted to a communication module 20 (in step S3). The communication module 20 converts the received instruction into a control signal and transmits the signal to an electronic apparatus 30 (in step S4). After a process is executed in response to an instruction, the electronic apparatus 30 outputs information to be returned to the remote controller 10 to the communication module 20 (in step S5). The communication module 20 transmits information (in step S6). The information is received within the period of time Tx after the instruction is transmitted. Thereafter, the reception mode is cancelled (in step S7). After the reception mode is cancelled, the remote controller 10 returns to a sleep mode and operates with the minimum power.

  • Publication number: 20110223862
Abstract: The risk of a third party able to conduct pairing is reduced, and operation is also made simple. In S1 the radio wave strength of a pairing signal received first is measured and retained. In S2 the message “Come a little closer” is displayed. In S4 it is determined from the radio wave strength whether or not the current distance is within a given range with respect to an instructed distance. In S5 it is determined whether or not the number of determinations in which the current distance is determined to be within the given range has reached a set number of determinations. In a second determination the message “Now move away a little” is displayed. If the second determination becomes positive, S6 (pairing registration) is performed.

  • Publication number: 20100107029
Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a transmitting side equipped with a microcomputer for control, for transmitting data and also includes a receiving side for receiving data. To prevent the receiving side from receiving identical data more than once, a sequence number is automatically incremented every time a frame of transmit data is transmitted. The sequence number is transmitted together with the data. The next process is performed if it is determined that transmission is correctly performed, or the data is transmitted again without incrementing the sequence number if it is determined that the transmission is not correctly performed. The sequence number is returned to an initial value when the microcomputer for control is reset, and dummy data is transmitted together with the initial value immediately after a reset. The data is transmitted together with an incremented sequence number after transmission of the dummy data.

  • Patent number: 7704127
Abstract: A plating layer 18 of Ni or the like is formed around the outer peripheral face 14 of a wire tool 10, and super abrasive grains 16 are electrodeposited so as to be embedded in the plating layer 18. A coating layer 20 is formed on the surface of the super abrasive grains 16 to increase efficiency during electrodeposition. The thickness of the coating layer 20 formed on the super abrasive grains 16 is less than 0.1 ?m, and preferably not more than 0.05 ?m. The coating layer 20 is thin enough that its mass is less than 10% of the mass of the super abrasive grain 16. Accordingly, the super abrasive grains 16 are electrodeposited in a single layer around the outer peripheral face 14 of the core wire 12. As a result, the super abrasive grains 16 do not readily come off the core wire 12, which means that the wire tool will have a longer life. Also, since there is no need to remove any excess super abrasive grains after their electrodeposition, manufacturing costs can be cut and less work is entailed.

  • Publication number: 20090207319
Abstract: A remote-control-signal conversion apparatus is disclosed. The remote-control-signal conversion apparatus receives a radio control signal from a remote controller, converts the radio control signal into an infrared control signal, and transmits the infrared control signal to an external device. When the apparatus identifies the external device, the apparatus transmits a plurality of infrared control signals to the external device. The apparatus identifies device identification information of the external device based on a response from the external device. The apparatus radio transmits the identified device identification information to the remote controller. The apparatus transmits the device identification information and a control code corresponding thereto as the infrared control signal received from the remote controller to the external device. The apparatus transmits the infrared control signal to the external device.

  • Publication number: 20090195407
Abstract: A remote control apparatus is disclosed, which radio transmits a control command from a remote controller to a reception apparatus connected to an electronic device which is an apparatus under control. The reception apparatus stores a first identification information which represents a destination remote controller. When the remote controller issues a pairing start command, the remote control apparatus transmits a pairing request containing second identification information of the remote controller itself. The reception apparatus extracts the second identification information from the received pairing request and decides that the remote controller is a pairing party if the first identification information matches the second identification information. The reception apparatus transmits a pairing response containing third identification information of the reception apparatus itself to the remote controller.

  • Patent number: 7467447
Abstract: In a SAW device comprising a piezoelectric single crystal substrate and electrodes on a surface thereof, the substrate is obtained by slicing a LiTaO3 or LiNbO3 material such that a plane containing axis X and perpendicular to a new axis Y obtained by rotating axis Y about axis X by an angle of 33°±9° becomes the substrate surface, and each electrode is a layered film including a titanium nitride layer and an aluminum layer thereon. The aluminum layer containing no grain boundaries ensures high efficiency, long life SAW devices experiencing no increase of electrical resistance.
