  • Patent number: 8251101
Abstract: A refrigerant piping unit includes a pipe and a joint coupled to the pipe. The pipe includes a main section, an end section and a bent section between the main section and the end section. The end section includes a flange portion adjacent to the bent section and a thick end portion opposite to the bent portion with respect to the flange portion in an axial direction. The flange portion is expanded in a radially outward direction and is engaged with the joint. The thick end portion is expanded in the radially outward direction and has a thickness greater than a thickness of the main section. The thick end portion has a groove on its outer surface. The end section has a flat inner surface extending continuously from an inner surface of the bent section throughout inside of the flange portion and the thick end portion.

  • Publication number: 20020016149
Abstract: Inside a blown-out air duct in the air conditioner through which conditioned air reaches a blowing-out port, there is provided a rectifying box having a air passage therein, for rectifying a flow of the conditioned air toward a predetermined flowing direction in order to prevent any dew condensation at the blowing-out port in the air conditioner. In the meantime, in order to suppress noise, rectifying plates for reducing an inflowing angle of air flowing into the fin tips of a heat exchanger are interposed between an axial fan and the heat exchanger for taking in the air from the axial fan for heat exchanging.

  • Patent number: 4662801
Abstract: This invention relates to a tool for use in carrying out a cutting process, and more particularly to a cutting tool formed so that it can be sued to cut an iron material of a high hardness and thereby obtain a mirror-polished surface thereon, the cutting tool being characterized in that it is formed by attaching a monocrystal of boron nitride to the tip thereof so that predetermined surface and orientation of the crystal are set suitably. To be concrete, the present invention is directed to a cutting tool in which monocrystalline boron nitride is used for a tip which forms a blade of the cutting tool, (111) surface of this boron nitride being used as a relief surface of the blade, <211> direction being used as a cutting direction; or a cutting tool of the same material, in which (100) surface of the boron nitride is used as a relief surface of the blade, <110> direction being used as a cutting direction.
