  • Patent number: 5124746
Abstract: Positional shifting of a photosensitive film due to poor winding-up and -off of an air-tight sheet is prevented without troublesome adjustments, whereby operationability of a contact printer is enhanced and improved. The air-tight sheet winding mechanism includes a connector frame fixed to a pair of carriages movable along each track rail disposed on both sides of a contact printer, and a roller holder for supporting a sheet roller. The connector frame is engaged with the roller holder by inserting micro bearings into oblong apertures. The roller holder and the sheet roller are engaged with the connector frame to slidably move in a direction B and swing about the micro bearing as shown by an arrow C. An air tight sheet is thus precisely and uniformly wound up and off according to its inherent properties including residual stress and residual strain.

  • Patent number: 5003341
Abstract: An apparatus for reproducing a picture with variable magnification under normal daylight conditions. An interceptor eliminates flare. The position of the interceptor changes as a function of the magnification. High quality images can be obtained without increasing the size of the apparatus. The apparatus also facilitates tracing of the image. The apparatus can be easily maintained.

  • Patent number: 4771336
Abstract: In a device for setting trimming areas of an original in an original image reproduction apparatus of a flat bed scanning type wherein the original is pressed on a transparent plate by a surface of a frame pivotably supported by a bearing mechanism on a side of the transparent plate when the frame is closed relative to the transparent plate and image signals for recording reproduced images of the trimming areas of the original are obtained by photoelectrically scanning the original through the transparent plate by means of a CCD linear sensor array, the improvement includes a digitizer board provided on the pressing surface of the frame for obtaining coordinate values defining predetermined points at the desired trimming areas of the original mounted on the board.

  • Patent number: 4723152
Abstract: A copying machine has a camera unit and a developer unit connected through a coupler, wherein the coupler includes feed paths along which a length of film is fed before and after exposure to a focused image of an original; a film cassette located adjacent to the feed path; a film carrier for supplying a length of unexposed film to the photographic or camera section, the film carrier being capable of running to and fro along a portion of the feed paths; an overlay sheet holder provided in opposite to the film carrier and movable in synchronism therewith; a transparent platen on which the film is placed with an overlay sheet covered thereon to shut out extraneous light; and a film sucking means mounted on the film carrier whereby a length of film after exposure is fed to the developer unit by being held by suction at its terminating end.

  • Patent number: 4690527
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for reproduction and tracing by forming an image of an original, at desired scale which is produced by at least one lens, on a screen on which a sheet of photosensitive materials, such as a picture film, or tracing paper is extended, comprising separate illumination systems for reproduction and tracing, wherein the illumination system for tracing is retracted in a retraced position located off the lighting space of the illumination system for reproduction, and turned over so as to eliminate spoilage of the quality of the reproduced picture by diminishing irregular reflection from the illumination system for tracing to the lens when a part of light from the illumination system for reproduction is emitted thereto during the reproduction operation.
