  • Publication number: 20170100007
Abstract: Self-travelling vacuum cleaner (10) has body (20) having suction port (101), drive unit (30), and an electric fan. Since suction port (101) is disposed in a maximum width part of body (20) closer than drive unit (30), self-travelling vacuum cleaner (10) can suck a trash on a corner in a target region to be cleaned easily and can move from the corner to another area quickly.

  • Publication number: 20130000071
Abstract: The present invention provides a technology, which is capable of easily switching between the vacuum function and the blower function of the vacuum cleaner with a simple configuration, and is also capable of effectively utilizing the blower function even in the various situations. Typical air suction/injection device is configured that the interior of the main unit constitutes a main passage of air, and the interior of an injection passage section provided in the main body constitutes a sub-passage. Once a suctioned airstream is created in the main passage, a power fan inside of a suction chamber is rotated, and in conjunction with such a rotation, an injection fan is rotated so that an injecting airstream is created in the sub-passage. In such case, a passage switching section composed of a valve member provided in the location of joining the main passage and the sub-passage is switched to easily switch between a creation of an injecting airstream and a creation of a suctioned airstream.

  • Publication number: 20080243388
Abstract: An autonomous driving apparatus includes: an obstacle detecting unit for detecting a presence of an obstacle or judging a distance to the obstacle; a driving unit for driving a main body; and a control unit for changing a moving direction of the main body by controlling the driving unit based on obstacle information from the obstacle detecting unit, wherein the control unit has a reciprocating mode in which the main body is reciprocatively moved within a moving area while being also moved in a direction normal to a reciprocating direction. If the control unit judges that the main body is in a movement-stuck state in which movement of the main body is stuck within a movement-stuck area by an obstacle placed in the moving area, the control unit switches the reciprocating mode to an obstacle avoiding mode in which the main body escapes from the movement-stuck area.

  • Patent number: 7047593
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a main body having an electric blower for generating a suction air flow, a dirt collecting case for centrifugally separating and collecting dirt, and a compression assembly for compressing dirt collected in the dirt collecting case to reduce a volume thereof. The dirt collecting case has a separation chamber for centrifugally separating dirt from the dirt containing air and a dirt collecting chamber in communication with the separation chamber for accumulating the dirt separated by the separation chamber. The compression assembly has a first air intake member provided in the separation chamber and communicating with the electric blower, a second air intake member provided in the dirt collecting chamber and communicating with the electric blower, a shielding plate for selectively opening the first and the second air intake member and an actuator for driving the shielding plate.

  • Publication number: 20060039888
Abstract: An apparatus for deodorizing dust particles includes a housing chamber, a powdering/granulating unit installed in the housing chamber, a deodorant disposed to be movable relative to the powdering/granulating unit, and a driving unit for driving the powdering/granulating unit or the deodorant. The deodorant is formed into granules or powders by a relative movement of the deodorant and the powdering/granulating unit, and thus obtained deodorant in granule or powder form is mixed with the dust particles.
