    Abstract: A tile cutter includes: a base body having a support ridge generally at the center in its longitudinal direction and elastic plates laid at the two sides of the support ridge; a guide rail erected over the support ridge and extending in parallel with the support ridge; and a tile cutting lever supported slidably on the guide rail and having a cutter on the lower face of its leading end and tile pressure legs extending to its two sides. Also, a stationary post is erected integrally from the base body and fixing one end of the guide rail; a detachable post made separate of the base body is attached at the other end of the guide rail; and a replaceable auxiliary ridge is attached to the base body and the detachable post such that the detachable post is located longitudinally extended from the support ridge of the base body.

    Abstract: A tile-cutting machine consists of a main base on which the tile is placed, a guide rail mounted on the base, a handle on the guide rail so that it can move freely along the guide rail and has a part which presses upon the tile on its bottom end, a knife holder with a sliding part which is fixed to the handle by an axle and fits on the guide rail, and a cutting knife which is fixed to the bottom part of the knife holder by an axle. After inscribing a cutting line on the top surface of the tile, the tile is cut along the cutting line.

    Abstract: A tile cutter which comprises mainly a guide rod provided above and in parallel with a base of the tile cutter and a handle having fins with attachments, a movable cutter, a link, sliding plates and a cam. The handle is movably and slidably fitted in the guide rod and tile cutting can be effected only by sliding the handle along the guide rod to mark a cut line and then by grasping lightly the handle and the guide rod by one hand.
