  • Publication number: 20080173387
Abstract: The present invention relates to artificial leather composed of fiber entangled structure and elastomer, wherein it has excellent elasticity with the longitudinal elongation of 15% or more and elastic recovery ratio 80% or more. The artificial leather is manufactured by the steps of: integrating a fiber web and a shrinkable sheet; applying elastomer to the integrated sheet; subjecting the resulting sheet to a shrinking treatment, and then removing the shrinkable sheet. According to the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing artificial leather excellent in elasticity, particularly, in longitudinal elasticity which has not been achieved by a conventional artificial leather, without deterioration of surface appearance thereof.

  • Patent number: 5773372
Abstract: The present invention provides a coated polyester fiber fabric, produced by coating a polyester fiber structure dyed by a disperse dye, with a resin, comprising an organic peroxide in said coating resin. The present invention also presents a coated polyester fiber fabric, produced by coating a polyester fiber structure dyed by a disperse dye, with a resin, comprising aromatic rings in said coating resin. The present invention furthermore presents a process for preparing a coated polyester fiber fabric, comprising the step of coating a polyester fiber structure dyed by a disperse dye, with a resin solution containing an organic peroxide. The coated polyester fiber fabric of the present invention has excellent fastness against dye migration and staining, and washing durability. On the other hand, the process of the present invention allows said coated fabric to be very simply and stably produced without using any special apparatus, and hence is industrially very effective.

  • Patent number: 5266354
Abstract: The present invention relates to a coated fabric of a polyester fiber exhibiting no staining caused by migration of a dispersed dye and a method for preparation thereof. The present invention catches a dye migrating in a resin by using fine inorganic particles having dye-absorption capabilities to confine dye molecules in fine pores thereof, and to prevent the surface of another fabric from staining due to dye-migration.

  • Patent number: 4245992
Abstract: A fabric of cellulosic fibers, particularly natural cellulosic fibers, of improved dyeability having a polymer of a monomer containing a quarternary amine group dispersed in the fibers with no phase separation is discharge printed. The improved cellulosic fibers can be prepared by impregnating a monomer containing a quarternary amine group into cellulosic fibers and polymerizing the monomer in the fibers. This treatment of cellulosic fibers with the polymer of a quarternary amine monomer can be advantageously utilized in the discharge printing of a fabric from a blend of hydrophobic synthetic/cellulosic fibers.
