  • Publication number: 20120267038
Abstract: An object is to extrude stably a rubber strip material of a predetermined cross-sectional shape without reducing an extruding speed of the rubber strip material from an extruding die. An extrusion method is provided for the rubber strip material which is used in a tire fabrication process in which an unvulcanized rubber strip material which is extruded from an extruding die of an extruding machine is wound spirally to build a tire rubber member, such that a pair of rotatable rolls are provided at a distal end portion of the extruding die in such a manner that their outer circumferential surfaces confront each other, and in that a rubber material is extruded continuously into a ribbon shape from a gap defined by the pair of confronting rolls.

  • Patent number: 7341640
Abstract: Method for forming a rubber strip which enables a wider rubber of small thickness without lowering an extruding speed and enables to reduce a building cycle time, thereby increasing the efficiency of tire manufacturing. Temperatures at a main-part casing 11, a screw shaft 12 and a head region included with the die 13 are controlled to be different from each other in a manner that: the temperature as controlled in the main-part casing 11 is higher than that in the screw shaft 12; and the temperature as controlled in the head region is higher than that in the main-part casing 11, when continuously extruding a rubber material in a form of a ribbon in forming a rubber strip 1.

  • Publication number: 20060048884
Abstract: A tire building method and a stitcher device therefore, which are aiming for achieving reliable pressing for bonding between a plurality of tire members all over outer face of the tire members, without forming a void between them, even though the outer face of the tire members have ups and downs, so as to curb strain in a carcass cord and to improve process efficiency. The method comprising: laying one or more of the tire members on a rotary support body such as a building drum; and press-contacting a press-contact part of a stitcher device on said one or more of the tire members on the rotary support while the rotary support being rotated, so as to bond together said one or more of the tire members; said press-contact part being a pneumatic-tire roller maintained with a certain level of inner pressure.

  • Publication number: 20060048873
Abstract: The present invention can, in building a member by winding a rubber strip material, decrease undesired overlapping portions, thus providing a tire which exhibits good weight balance and uniformity, and hence it is possible to acquire a tire which can favorably maintain uniformity. As means to obtain the object, the first winding of the rubber strip material at the start of winding is wound in the tire circumferential direction, the second winding and succeeding windings of the rubber strip material are, for every winding, wound in an inclined manner with respect to the tire circumferential direction within a portion along the tire circumference to impart a given pitch and wound in the tire circumferential direction in regions other than the inclined region, and a final winding on the winding finishing side is wound in the tire circumferential direction overlapping the last inclined region without being inclined and there is terminated.

  • Patent number: 6196877
Abstract: An electrical connection box comprises lower and upper casings capable of being combined with each other, an electrically insulating wiring board located between the casings and having a wire laid in a desired shape thereon, a busbar in contact with at least a part of a wire laying surface of the wiring board, and an insulating plate located between the lower casing and the wiring board and/or between the upper casing and the wiring board. The insulating plate has thereon a projection for pressing the laid wire away from the busbar. The wiring board is formed with a laying groove in which the wire is laid. Post-formed protuberances for preventing the wire from getting out of the laying groove are formed in predetermined portions of the laying groove.
