Patent number: 7318382Abstract: There is provided a method of incinerating a waste material to process incineration residues produced in a gasification furnace easily with existing equipment. A combustible gas generated when a waste material A is dry-distilled in a gasification furnace 1 is introduced into a combustion furnace 3 and combusted therein. The combustible gas is generated in the gasification furnace 1 in order to keep the temperature in the combustion furnace 3 at a temperature capable of melting incineration residues. The incineration residues are charged into the combustion furnace 3 while the combustible gas is being combusted therein, and melted into a melted material B that is discharged from an outlet 3 of the combustion furnace 3 into a receptacle 33 in which the melted material B is solidified. Air supplied to an air jacket 6 and oxygen supplied to the gasification furnace 1 and the combustion furnace 3 are heated by a heat exchange with waste gases from the combustion furnace 3.Type: GrantFiled: June 7, 2001Date of Patent: January 15, 2008Assignee: Kinsei Sangyo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masamoto Kaneko

Patent number: 6746497Abstract: A waste is dry-distilled in a gasification furnace and generated combustible gas is combusted in a combustion furnace. A temperature in the combustion furnace is set to be substantially constant at a first preset temperature or more. When the temperature in the combustion furnace is greater than the first preset temperature by combustion of other fuels, the combustible gas is introduced. When the temperature in the combustion furnace reaches a second preset temperature or more by the combustion of only the combustible gas, the combustion of the other fuels is finished. When the temperature in the combustion furnace falls below a third preset temperature the combustion of the other fuels is resumed. When the temperature in the gasification furnace falls below a fourth preset temperature, the combustion of the other fuels is finished.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2001Date of Patent: June 8, 2004Assignee: Kinsei Sangyo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masamoto Kaneko

Patent number: 5653180Abstract: A waste material such as waste tires is incinerated by dry distillation and gasification in gasification and combustion furnaces. The waste material in the gasification furnace is determined as having been ignited when the temperature of a combustible gas in the combustion furnace is detected by a temperature sensor as having reached a temperature at which the combustible gas is capable of spontaneous combustion within a predetermined time period after an igniting nozzle stops supplying combustion flames to the waste material in the gasification furnace. If the waste material is not determined as having been ignited, then the igniting nozzle is controlled to supply combustion flames again to the waste material in the gasification furnace.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 1995Date of Patent: August 5, 1997Assignee: Kinsei Sangyo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masamoto Kaneko

Patent number: 5619938Abstract: A waste material in a first gasification furnace is thermally decomposed through dry distillation, producing a combustible gas, which is introduced into and combusted in a first combustion furnace, and the produced heat of combustion is imparted to a heat source of a boiler. The opening of a valve connected to the first gasification furnace is controlled to supply oxygen required to thermally decompose the waste material in order to keep the combustion temperature of the combustible gas in the first combustion furnace at a substantially constant combustion temperature upon the dry distillation in the first gasification furnace. When the opening of the valve increases and becomes greater than a predetermined opening at an ending stage of the dry distillation in the first gasification furnace, a waste material in a second gasification furnace is thermally decomposed through dry distillation, producing a combustible gas.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 1995Date of Patent: April 15, 1997Assignee: Kinsei Sangyo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masamoto Kaneko

Patent number: 5213051Abstract: A waste material such as waste tires is incinerated by way of dry distillation and gasification. In a gasification furnace, a portion of the waste material is burned and the remainder is thermally decomposed by dry distillation with the heat of combustion, producing a combustible gas. A combustion furnace combusts the combustible gas introduced from the gasification furnace. The gasification furnace is supplied with an amount of oxygen required to burn the portion of the waste material and to thermally decompose the remainder while at the same time the amount of oxygen supplied to the gasification furnace is controlled to maintain, at a substantially constant value, the temperature of the combustible gas during the dry distillation of the waste material. The gasification furnace is also supplied with an amount of oxygen to accelerate the combustion and ashing of the waste material when the dry distillation is finished.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 1992Date of Patent: May 25, 1993Assignee: Kinsei Sangyo Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masamoto Kaneko
