  • Patent number: 8814172
Abstract: A cylinder head gasket 1 has a gas seal plate P1 in which a combustion chamber hole 11 is drilled, an oil seal plate P2 in which an oil hole 13 is drilled, and a main plate P3 provided between the gas seal plate and the oil seal plate. Plate thicknesses of the gas seal plate, the oil seal plate, and the main plate are made different from each other, the plate thickness of the gas seal plate is larger than the plate thicknesses of the oil seal plate and the main plate, and end portions of the gas seal plate, the oil seal plate, and the main plate are connected to each other. A combustion gas, lubricant oil or the like from a combustion chamber or an oil passage can be effectively sealed, and the cylinder head gasket can be manufactured inexpensively.

  • Publication number: 20110254232
Abstract: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes at least two first and second seal plates 11 and 12 in which oil drop holes 4 are perforated, respectively. On the first and second seal plates, half beads 11a and 12a that endlessly surround the oil drop holes and that project in a direction toward each other to be mutually pressed are formed, and the oil drop holes are sealed by these half beads. Outside of the respective half beads, auxiliary beads 11c and 12c that project in a direction toward each other to be mutually pressed are formed. Projection directions of the half beads and the auxiliary beads may be opposite to each other. Since the respective auxiliary beads 11c and 12c give acting forces that press the respective half beads 11a and 12a against a cylinder head or a cylinder block, a better sealing property can be secured as compared with a conventional cylinder head gasket.

  • Patent number: 5677704
Abstract: Frame rate modulation is effected in which image data, which expresses a density of one dot by 4-bit dot data, is converted into a plurality of frame data, which express a density of one dot by 3 bits, so that the plurality of the frame data are sequentially displayed on the LCD. In the above conversion, the high order 3 bits of the dot data are extracted and made into data of one dot of each frame. In a case in which the least significant bit of the first dot data is 1 and the most significant bit is 0, 1 is added to a corresponding portion of the respective frame data. In a case in which the least significant bit of the dot data is 0 and the most significant bit is 1, 1 is subtracted from a corresponding portion of the respective frame data. In accordance with the above description, the image data is converted into the frame data as shown in Table 2, and the sum (apparent densities) of the plurality of converted frame data always changes in accordance with the changes in the dot data.
