  • Patent number: 7246694
Abstract: A friction roller (10) includes a support roller (11) and an annular elastic ring (15) which it externally fitted to the support roller (11). The support roller (11) is divided into two portions in a thickness direction, that is, a first divided roller (12) and a second divided roller (13). A flange (127) is formed on one side of the first divided roller (12), and a taper face (128) is formed in an outer peripheral face of the first divided roller (12). A knurling portion (129) is formed in the taper face (128). A flange (136) is formed on one side of the second divided roller (13), and a taper face (137) is formed in an outer peripheral face of the second divided roller (13). A knurling portion (138) is formed in the taper face (137). Meanwhile, taper faces (151, 152) expanding outward are formed in an inner peripheral face of the elastic ring (15).

  • Patent number: 4708351
Abstract: A sealing layer that seals the gap between the body or window glass and the weatherstrip attached to the door, window, trunk, roof side, etc. of an automobile, and also to a weatherstrip, automotive body, and glass plate provided with said sealing layer. The water-absorbing material swells upon absorption of water, sealing the fitting part of the weatherstrip. The water-absorbing material is made of a mixture of a water-absorbing polymer and rubber or synthetic resin. The sealing layer is formed on the fitting part of the weatherstrip, body, or window glass at which the weatherstrip is fitted to the automotive body or the window glass is fitted to the weatherstrip.

  • Patent number: 4559252
Abstract: A reinforcing combination is useful to reinforce plate metal which comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet formed from a sheet-like substrate comprising asphalt, rubber, and a filler and having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one surface thereof; and a thermosetting sheet formed from a sheet-like substrate comprising polyvinyl acetal, monomeric diallyl phthalate, a filler, and at least one additive, and having a reinforcing fiber layer on one surface and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the other surface thereof; wherein said thermosetting sheet at one edge partially overlaps said pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the former in contact with that surface of the latter which is remote from its own pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. A reinforcement configuration is provided by attaching the components of the reinforcing combination in assembly or separately followed by heat curing.
