  • Publication number: 20140035923
Abstract: Provided is a working range diagram and a working range diagram-display apparatus with which a working range can be easily grasped. The working range diagram shows a working range in which a boom of a working machine having the boom can safely move with a three-dimensional spatial coordinate system. In the working range diagram, a part of or all of forward performance, backward performance, right sideward performance and left sideward performance in the working range is shown in different display formats. Since the working range is shown three-dimensionally and the frontward performance, the backward performance, the right sideward performance and the left sideward performance can be distinguished from each other, the working range can be easily grasped. Consequently, a mistake in a work plan is hardly made due to a subjective impression or a misunderstanding, thereby preventing rework or the like.

  • Patent number: 6501637
Abstract: A trimmer capacitor includes anchor portions that are arranged to be stepped down from the surface of a fixed electrode and are embedded in a stator near the upper surface of the stator at the tip portions of the fixed electrode. Because the tip portion of the fixed electrode has a section that is exactly perpendicular or nearly perpendicular to the surface of the fixed electrode in the region from the surface of the fixed electrode to the anchor portions, even if the upper surface of the stator is polished in the process for forming the stator, neither the area of the fixed electrode nor the capacitance changes.

  • Patent number: 5657006
Abstract: A movable electrode is positioned between two fixed electrodes. The movable electrode is rotated in correspondence to a rotation angle to be detected. The fixed electrodes and the movable electrode are split into first split electrode members and second split electrode members not conducting with each other respectively. The first fixed split electrode members are electrically connected with a first external terminal, and the second fixed split electrode members are electrically connected with a second external terminal. Thus, electrostatic capacitances which are derived from the external terminals are varied by rotation of the movable electrode. In this sensor, the varied electrostatic capacitances can be derived through conductive paths comprising no sliding contact portions, while a variable range of the electrostatic capacitances can be increased.

  • Patent number: 5574442
Abstract: First and second fixed electrodes are fixedly provided on a housing which is mounted on a surface whose inclination angle is to be detected. A rotatable electrode is inserted between these fixed electrodes, and this rotatable electrode is mounted on a shaft which is rotatably provided on the housing. The rotatable electrode is made to regularly face a constant direction with respect to the gravitational direction. The first fixed electrode has a central angle of 180.degree., for example, and is split into a first fixed split electrode member having a central angle of 60.degree. and a second fixed split electrode member having a central angle of 120.degree.. Wires are connected to the fixed split electrode members respectively, thereby taking out two series-connected capacitances which are formed by the respective ones of the first and second fixed split electrode members and the rotatable electrode. The second fixed electrode is structured similarly to the first fixed electrode.

  • Patent number: 5516974
Abstract: The present invention provides an immobilizing agent for making harmless the detrimental metals contained in fly ash formed from an urban dust incinerating plant and a method for immobilizing the fly ash. The treating agent according to the present invention contains .alpha. starch and/or dextrin (component A), sodium silicate and/or a hydrogen phosphate compound (component B) and an allophane having a molecular ratio of SiO.sub.2 /Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 of not lower than 2 (component C). It may also further contain cement, bentonite, calcined gypsum and fly ash formed from a coal thermoelectric power plant. The mixing ratio of the components A, B and C is preferably 100 parts by weight: 20 to 160 parts by weight: 40 to 180 parts by weight respectively. The treating agent is mixed with the above-mentioned fly ash and water is added to it and the mixture is milled and then used.

  • Patent number: 4616108
Abstract: A direct broadcast communication satellite system prevents over-charge for earth-subscriber to earth-subscriber toll calls via radio links to an earth station regardless of faults which may occur in satellite channels. A central earth station controls the frequency assignment of the radio link channels used for voice communication. Each of a plurality of subscriber earth stations has at least one voice communication terminal, with means for identifying a call destined for a subscriber at that earth station. The continuity of the channels involved in that call are monitored by periodically transmitting and receiving out-of-band signals on the assigned channel. It appears that there has been a loss of signal when the out-of-band signal does not appear, twice in succession. Then, the channel is released and the toll charges are terminated.
