    Abstract: A cab of a construction machine enables an operator sitting on an operation seat to easily perform visual confirmation and operation of a portable communication terminal. The cab includes a floor plate, an operation seat positionally adjustable in the front-rear direction to the floor plate, and a control box disposed sideward of the operation seat. The control box includes a box body, and an operation lever protruding upward beyond the upper surface of a front part of the box body to receive an operation by the operator sitting on the operation seat. The box body includes a portable communication terminal holding portion that receives insertion of a portable communication terminal at a position frontward of the operation lever and holds the inserted portable communication terminal while exposing at least a part of the portable communication terminal above the box body.

The seat stand has an upper surface including a specific surface located beneath the remote control valve and a reference surface on which the operator's seat is installed. A step is provided between the specific surface and the reference surface to make the specific surface be lower than the reference surface, thus enlarging a space for routing the pilot hose beneath the remote control valve.
