  • Patent number: 9149443
Abstract: A tape preparation is provided which does not use a backing such as a plastic film, knit or a woven fabric, or a nonwoven fabric, has very high conformability to skin, and is easy to use at the time of application. There is provided a tape preparation 1 that is produced by laminating a drug-containing adhesive layer 4 on the printed ink layer 3 side of a cover film 2 with printing thereon and covering the drug-containing adhesive layer with a release film 5. In this tape preparation, the adhesive strength between the cover film and the printed ink layer is higher than the adhesive strength between the drug-containing adhesive layer and the release film, and the adhesive strength between the printed ink layer and the drug-containing adhesive layer is higher than the adhesive strength between the cover film and the printed ink layer.

  • Patent number: 8692050
Abstract: A medicated patch is provided which is covered with a liner that enables one to remove the liner unconsciously and readily without losing the initial stickiness of the medicated patch. The external medicated patch includes a backing, an aqueous adhesive drug-containing matrix that is spread substantially entirely over one surface of the backing, and a liner that is larger in size than the surface of the drug-containing matrix to which the liner is attached. The liner larger in size than the surface of the drug-containing matrix to which the liner is attached includes an unattached area that extends from the surface of the drug-containing matrix, or an unattached slack portion that projects upward from the surface of the drug-containing matrix at a position on the surface of the drug-containing matrix.

  • Publication number: 20100298788
Abstract: An adhesive patch, such as poultice-type patch, is provided, which is suitable for mass production and allows the user to apply it without touching the drug-containing matrix. A production method of such a adhesive patch is also provided. Specifically, the method for producing adhesive patch, wherein (a) the adhesive patch comprises two liners; (b) the first liner is folded at the middle thereof so that it is divided by the fold into two sections that together form a V-shaped liner, one of the two sections adhering to the drug-containing matrix surface; and (c) the second liner adheres to the remaining part of the drug-containing matrix surface with one end of the second liner covering the fold of the V-shaped first liner, the method including: allowing a tubular liner to adhere to at least half of the surface of the drug-containing matrix spread over the backing; and cutting the tubular liner in half to form the V-shaped first liner folded at the middle thereof.

  • Publication number: 20040159575
Abstract: A human resistance pharmaceutical package is described. A package is provided in which access to a medicated pad, such as one saturated with Lidocaine, is obstructed unless opening is attempted using a cutting tool. The package is made from two heat-sealed panels. At least one of the panels is made of multiple layers including at least an outer printable layer and a pair of oriented nylon layers. Preferably, print and a varnish coat layer is provided on the facing surfaces. Aluminum layers may provide environmental protection for package contents. Usually, panel thickness will be limited for use with standard production line machinery. Together, the composite layers are preferably not so thick as to prohibit the use of common heat sealing machinery or modified typical machinery for production.

  • Patent number: 5537389
Abstract: Scratches on the recording disk caused by sliding of a disk cartridge shutter is prevented by slidably inserting first and second shutters between a tray and a case on the opposite side to a recording disk accommodating portion of the tray. The first shutter simultaneously opens and closes a case side driving shaft insert hole, a case side head insert hole, a tray side driving shaft insert hole, and a tray side head insert hole. The second shutter opens and closes a terminal hole. The second shutter is opened independently of the first shutter and is held in a position so that the case side driving shaft insert hole, the case side head insert hole, the tray side driving shaft insert hole, and the tray side head insert hole are not closed. Closing the first shutter, however, causes the second shutter to also close.
